Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT for a small adult [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a rather "petite" adult woman (~5'3", 120 lbs), and I ordered this jacket in an XL. It fits perfectly! I have worn it in warmer weather with just a t shirt underneath and it keeps the rain off well. I recently wore it on a long field work trip where I was in 30 degree sleet for 5 hours. It kept me very dry, and the sizing allowed me to wear a t shirt, thermal, and sweatshirt underneath the raincoat with plenty of room to spare. Even when this jacket isn't on sale, it's a much cheaper alternative to the similar adult jackets, and apparently works just as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these for my boys to wear on rainy schooldays. They are excellent quality and lightweight so they work well for warmer days and can be layered over a heavier jacket or hoodie when the weather turns cool. They are waterproof so they stay dry on their walk to school and the hood has a little bill that keeps rain out of their faces. They look good, too so they don't feel like their mom is dressing them like dorks (very important in middle school). The sizing is right on and I think we'll get a couple of years wear out of them, at least. Great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Rain Jacket for WARM weather [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been hard to find a good quality, packable, very lightweight rain jacket for my son. Many good quality jackets come with some sort of liner for colder weather. We live in Hawaii...but it rains a lot! But I don't want my son sweating in his jacket, and it can often be pretty humid but raining at this same time. This is perfect, and it runs a little large so if it IS a little cold, you can always add a little fleece or something underneath. Also works for a growing boy! I gave it 4 stars because I wouldn't mind it being a touch thicker, but some might love how lightweight and packable this is.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Paper Thin...Color and Sizing good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color and size is great.. ( purchased medium in blue) only problem.. the jacket is paper thin.. there is no lining at all.. it's like the jackets you buy that roll up into a pouch. I didn't want anything lined or heavy as this is for the summer but I was shocked to see the quality.. I have similar jackets from last year that are still light weight but at least have a mesh lining and the material is not like paper. Will be returning and trying a different jacket. I was very surprised given the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome jacket! I know this is designed for a "kid", but I'm 5'4" and 135 and needed a good rain jacket that I don't feel overwhelmed by. Saw this on the sale page and decided that if it didn't work for me, I could wait until it fits my son! It was fantastic the day my son decided we needed to take a walk in the rain. Kept me nice and dry and wasn't too warm, so no sweating! Definitely a great find and so well made it will last until it fits my son!(He's 4, so I get it for a few years...)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works in SE Alaska My 6 year old wears his coat in a place that gets 180 inches of rain a year. After 3 moths I am pleased with how dry he is. It does not keep you warms only dry. So get a size bigger if you want to have warm layers under.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rain jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket for my 4 year old who is very big for his age. The size guide was very helpful. It is a little big for him, but that allows me to layer a sweater underneath, as this is an unlined jacket. Because of this feature, it can be used in warm or cooler weather. We live in a very humid and windy area, so this jacket has been perfect for our climate this summer. It is very lightweight, making it easy to pack and perfect for an active little boy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A Bit Thin I realize that this is a lightweight rain jacket, but this thing is paper thin. I wore it while hiking in the woods during a light rain and ended up soaked after 20 minutes into the hike.
