Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too large [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Based on the size and fit guide, I purchased these in size XL for my son, who has a 28” waist and 31” hips. Sadly, they these pants are just too large. Even after adjusting the Velcro on the sides to make them fit tighter, they still slide down his hips. To demonstrate my point, I can comfortably wear these snow pants (34” waist, 40” hips). Aside from the poor fit, they seem to be well made and the “outgrown” feature is very nice for a growing 12 year old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the trick [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son finally had a chance to test these snowpants during the fourth 'Noreaster we had in 19 days! The pants are a little thinner than the snowpants we have previously had (from other brands) so we were slightly concerned about staying warm. But I am happy to say that the fears were unfounded. Even after rolling around in the snow for over an hour, my son said his legs were warm and dry. Hoping to get another year or two out of them using the features like adjustable waist and length and pass them on to my younger child.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fragile fabric at the ankle It’s November, and so the winter season has barely begun here in MN. My son has probably worn these less than 10 times and his brand new snow pants for the season are already ripping at the ankle cuff. I don’t notice them to be too big for him but they must have dragged a tiny bit. There is a thicker canvas like fabric on one side, it’s unfortunate they don’t use a heavier duty fabric around the entire cuff. Couple weeks of wear and already damaged, very frustrating. I’ve had cheap Cat and Jack target pairs hold up better than this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Decent, but knees wore through in just a couple weeks These are good pants, but not well suited to the boys they are likely destined to go to. It wasn't even two weeks of school use before our son wore holes in both knees. Add cordura to the knees and bummy, and I would give these 100%. As they are built, it's patches and stitching all the time...

They are warm, but still light, they stretch and the color is as vibrant as it seems on screen. Unfortunately I bought a smaller size than I needed for my nephew who now needs adult pants in the smaller size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lasts forever [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE Columbia's snow pants, kids in particular....this is the 5th pair I have purchased, I have four kids and I've been passing down these snow pants for the last 12 years and they haven't lost any of their quality. We went night sledding over Christmas, and at 20 degrees outside my kids were toasty warm. Their expansion and waste band adjustments make them a great option for multiple years of use. I come back to these every time I need a new pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kids snow pants BOYS’ ICE SLOPE™ II PANT- love these snow pants. They hold up to an active 5 year old who love to play in the snow. The material is holding up great and are very warm. I have to talk him into coming inside, as the snow pants keep him warm the whole time!
