Rated 3 out of 5 by from Around town vs backpacking It’s a beautiful jacket and it does keep me dry. It’s feels vey stout and the material and workmanship are solid; however it’s not really a rain jacket for backpacking rather is is more of a rainy day jacket. The Reason is there are couple of features which it doesn’t have that make me give it three starts. First, I’m use to jackets which can fold up into themselves in some capacity. Usually it’s one of the main pockets. Not the case with this jacket. Second, there are no vent zippers on this jacket, so you will be getting hot if you’re hiking. Otherwise, it’s a great jacket!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket but NO HANG TAG?! The jacket is great. Lightweight, nice style, feels quality. Two big issues though...there's no hang tag to hang it from a hook so you're stuck putting it on a hanger and zipping it up or hanging it from the hood and getting a bump in the hood eventually. Every jacket should have a hang tag...especially rain jackets! There are also no cinch cords at the waist or around the face...another big mistake in a rain jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket for cool Arizona mornings. I bought this jacket for a trip to South America. I wanted something light and easy to pack that I could layer underneath. The mornings have gotten colder here in Arizona and I have been wearing this jacket out with a t-shirt and a fleece sweater on underneath. The jacket helps to break the wind and I have been perfectly warm. I love the colors! It's a very sharp looking jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the thing! I needed a lightweight shell with some flash, and quality I could count on. Found it! My new Cielo hooded zip up is fab, and the color blocking looks sharp, yet tasteful. And of course it's Cotopaxi gear for good. I am taking it on the road to warmer, subtropical climes and cannot wait to hear the compliments. As I said...just the thing. Mark

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Notch I’ve been waiting for a Cotopaxi rain jacket for a while and was so excited when I saw it drop. It has lived up to my expectations! Bright for visibility, quality zippers and pockets, and keeps me bone dry. Tested it out in Glacier National Park two weeks ago and it kept me dry during the rolling thunderstorms. 10/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket Great lightweight rain jacket with a good feel to the fabric (not loud and crinkly, just enough stretch). Like the bright colors as I will wear this while biking to work. Only gripe is sleeves seemed a little baggy, but with the adjustable Velcro strap at the wrists you can tailor the size to fit better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cielo Rain Jacket - Men's Pros: Appears to be quality workmanship; looking forward to putting it to use. Cons: Made in China; Arms are slightly longer than expected. I'm 6'3", ordered a large, and the cuff extends into my palms when arms resting at my side

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cielo Rain Jacket - Men's The jacket is great, looks and feels good. Waterproofing is good, the only thing I didn’t think about was lack of any kind of pit vents or zippers for better airflow if extra breathability is needed. Good jacket overall though.

HOW to MEASURE

CHEST: With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the circumference around the fullest part of your chest.

WAIST: With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the full circumference of your natural waist (at the crease when you bend to one side).

HIPS: With the tape measure parallel to the ground, measure the circumference of the fullest part of your hips (usually around the top of your thighs, where they connect to your torso).

SLEEVES: Starting at the base of your neck, measure along your shoulder, then down to the wrist. Your elbow should be slightly bent.

INSEAM: Holding the tape measure vertically, measure straight down from your crotch to the floor. Take this measurement without shoes on.

TIPS
• Use a flexible tape measure. If possible, have someone help you take measurements.
• Wear something light and close-fitting - like leggings and a t-shirt - so your clothes don't add to the measurements.
• Don't wear anything thick or heavy, like jeans or a jacket.
• Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart.
