Awesome light weight packable down jacket! This jacket is phenomenal! The quality is very nice and the functionality is excellent. I live in the pacific northwest and have worn this jacket now on several cooler hikes / backpacking excursions and it always keeps me warm. This jacket does have a slim fit I'm a small in most jackets but for this I needed a medium. Plenty of room in the shoulder / arms but snug on the hips (for all the ladies out there with wide hips I'd go a size or two up depending). Because of the fit however I get so many complements on this jacket everytime I wear it out in public. It's nice to have a down jacket that doesn't make you look like a marshmallow!

FUEGO Jacket RocksThe only suggestion I would make is to add an upper chest pocket with a secure closure...there are many times when I would rather unzip just the top part of the jacket to get out money or something else without unzipping the whole jacket...think on a ski lift for example...but otherwise I am thrilled...the color I got (the powder blue) is gorgeous but looks more grey in the online pictures...and all the colors are not shown very well from the side and front...hard to guess on color choices...but the jacket itself is warm and snuggly and beautiful. Sizing was correct...I am 5'3, 123 #, and ordered a medium...Bottom is snug on my wide hips but comfy...

Amazing quality but not functional for pear shaped bodiesThis is actually my second cotopaxi coat. I gained a lot of weight during covid and my old one (which was my favorite and I love) didn’t zip anymore. So I decided to go one size up. I really wanted to love this jacket since it is so pretty, light and warm but unfortunately the new design is not made for women with wider hips. Unfortunately had to return it and tried going another size up. Size L was fitting well on the hips but it ran super large on the chest, shoulders and sleeves. It would be great if you go back to the older slim fit design that was more flattering for curvy figures. This is unfortunately designed for slim women with a long torso.

Great jacket! This jacket- size small- fits me (5'4", 130lbs) better than any other jacket I've had before and the colors look even better in person. I would have normally ordered a medium, but got a small based on the size chart and comments. I got one of the leftover clearance colors so was a little nervous, but I love it! Tested it out camping in temps in the 20s-30s and it's not the warmest when there's wind, but when I woke up to a still, snowy morning it was extremely cozy. I think this will be a great jacket for backpacking, camping, and hiking since it's lightweight and packable. This is the most I've ever spent on a jacket and so far I think it's worth it!

Lightweight and WARM!My old Shovelhead jacket from Big Agnes bit the dust last winter and I wanted to replace it with something a bit more stylish and figure flattering (it was definitely a marshmallow jacket!). After a lot of research, I decided that not only did the Fuego look amazing, but Cotopaxi's business practices were awesome. After several weeks of wear, I have determined that even though the Fuego is a lot lighter and slimmer, it is actually warmer than the Shovelhead was. I love it and kind of want to get another one in a different colour scheme! The only thing missing is a zippered chest pocket, which I do miss for keeping a slim wallet.

Wish cut was more feminineThe colors are beautiful however the cut needs some work. Its very boxy especially in the shoulders and upper arms..theres a ton of loose material. I bought an xs small and also an xxs. The xxs torso/arms fits well except its very tight around my hips and its hard to zip it up around a pair of jeans or thicker pants. The xs fits well around the hips but is waay too big in the torso. I even asked the guys in the shop for help with sizing and they agreed they’ve seen/heard this same complaint from other women…its needs a more a-line cut instead of the same cut as the mens jacket. Kind of a bummer….for reference im 4’11, 115lbs.

Great features, not the best fitI love the warmth and wind/water resistance of this coat. I work outside a lot, and it's been a great jacket for the winter. I'm usually a Medium in jackets and originally got the Fuego in that size, but the athletic fit made it too tight in the armpits and around my hips, so I sized up to a Large. I have much more room for bulkier under layers now, and it fits a lot more comfortably. I just still wish there was a little more room in the hips, and that the outside pockets were moved in towards the zipper more (they tend to puff out and not look super flattering). Otherwise, I love this jacket for the comfort and functionality! Plus, it weighs nothing, so great for travel.

Super warm and lightweight![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is gorgeous, super comfy, and most importantly toasty. I've never had a down jacket, so was pleasantly surprised by how warm it was when I stepped outside on a mid-30s morning. I couldn't feel the cold at all, and look forward to wearing it more when the cold comes around again. The only thing I would change about this is the fit: as a woman with a wider waist and hips, I wish it wasn't so tight-fitting near the bottom. Opposite of this, the shoulders and arms could be slightly tighter-fitting. That being said, it's still comfy and I love it a lot!
