The Cotopaxi Women's Teca Calido Hooded Vest is a reversible vest to suit your mercurial adventure moods. Color-blocked on one side, solid on the other, with 60g recycled polyester insulation to keep your core toasty regardless of which way you wear it. The shell fabric is a repurposed polyester taffeta that has been treated with a durable water repellent finish, so not only is it sustainable, it also deters light moisture. The two sides also feature different pocket styles (drop-in and zippered), but you can utilize the hood on both.

Lightweight but warm!I love this vest. It’s very lightweight and even though it’s kinda puffy, it rolls up really small and can be stuffed in a pack without taking up much space. That’s said, it’s really warm! The armholes and bottom hem fit tight, preventing wind from blowing through, and the lining keeps your core nice and warm. I’ve worn this on a couple of 40-50 degree (F) hikes over a thermal base layer and it was perfect. It was actually too warm for a 60 degree day and I ended up stuffing it in my pack (with ease, see above). Overall, this is a great piece for cooler weather hiking, that still gives you lots of mobility and doesn’t add much extra weight.

Just Perfect!I love the fabric, it is very light and soft. I also like the huge number of pockets that it has. It takes very little space for packing. It is warm light and cosy, really loved it! And the colors are amazing. I recommend it! I went camping and I brought the Teca Cálido Hooded Vest and the Teca Cálido Jacket and I used them all the time! I am very happy!

Odd fitI’m a true 0-2 but ordered a small to accommodate layers for platform tennis. The top of the vest fits well but the bottom “flares” out giving you an unflattering Humpty Dumpty look. No way to cinch it in or create a normal silhouette. The colors are fantastic - this just needs to be constructed in a slimmer / consistent cut from top to bottom.

yay for more larger sizes!been eyeing cotopaxi outerwear for a while and recently discovered they offer w sizes up to xxl - so i was finally able to order! this xxl *just* fits me, would be great if they offered xxxl like they do in men’s sizes. i love the reversable aspect, all of the pockets, and the colors. a fantastic lightweight vest with a hood!

A Box With Small Sleeve HolesThe vest was well made and had groovy colors of course. The sleeve openings were small which would make it tough to layer underneath (e.g. a long sleeve shirt and light fleece). The body was long and boxy with a tight-ish elastic at the bottom. The vest goes about half way down your bum.

The “vest” purchase ever!I love this vest! It’s lightweight, comfortable and keeps me warm. But not too warm. I love that it’s reversible and I love the colors! I also love all the pockets. I’ve had a ton of compliments already and have only had the vest a few weeks.

Rather BoxyI normally wear a women’s medium, which I had to return for a women’s small. Because the armholes are a little tight, I wouldn’t want an XS. However, the body of the vest is still too large, even with layers. Thus, my term “boxy.”
