The Darn Tough Men's Number 2 Micro Crew Cushion Sock is a comfortable sock for year round hiking. The merino wool blend is more than just soft, it's durable, breathable, and stretchy too. Wiggle your toes, stick 'em in your boots, and give a little wiggle yet again. The micro crew will peek about six inches above a low shoe, just slightly above a mid hiker, and snuggle your ankles just below your calf. Cushion underfoot and up the achilles softens the blow of every mile.

I have been in love with them since a friend introduced me 6 years ago. And now I finally got my husband on the bandwagon. He loves them too and they are great for work, where he is on his feet walking all day. All of his other socks would get holes after like a week because he walks 15-20 miles a day, but these are holding up!

They're a bit pricy but always a hit in a stocking. I recommend for those who are hard on their socks and are prone to holes in heels and toes
