Deuter Aircomfort Back System
The heart of the Aircomfort system is a flexible spring steel frame. It is extremely durable and provides stable tension for the airy back mesh and creates the ventilation space between pack and wearer's back, which lets moist air escape. The end result is up to 25% less perspiration while you hike, which in turn reduces circulatory stress and helps increase endurance, all tested and proven by the renowned Research Institute Hohenstein.

Deuter technical and backpacking packs are offered in One Size for each volume, and feature an adjustable torso range. Please check the PRODUCT FEATURES and / or SPECIFICATIONS for the torso range measurements of a pack, and follow the steps below to determine your torso size.
Deuter hipbelts are adjustable to accommodate most any wearer.
HOW to MEASURE TORSO SIZE
1. Put your chin to your chest and feel for the big bone protruding on your neck at the top of your spine. That's the C7 vertebra.
2. Feel your hip bone, the top part of this is your iliac crest. Find the spot on your back that is level with the top of this crest.
3. Have someone measure the distance between these two points, following the contours of your spine.
