The Deuter Speed Lite 16 Pack is an ultralight pack for a range of activities on the mountain. Move fast, with all the extra layers, snacks and tools on your back in this trusty little pack. From ergonomic shoulder straps to 3D -AirMesh backpanel, the fit hugs close to the body and you can choose whether you utilize the sternum strap and webbing hipbelt, or remove them completely to further lighten your load. Compatible with a 2L hydration reservoir, one won't be included, but will fit in the internal sleeve. Tuck small valuables into the top zippered pocket for fast access and water bottles into the side stretch mesh pockets. See you at the top or meet you back at the trailhead.

The Deuter Speedlite Series is just perfect for storing all what you need for long cycling rides.with minimal weight while having space for a water bladder.

I'm still confused about the hip belt- some pictures show one and descriptions on other sites say there is one, but the maroon that we received definitely does not have one.

Deuter Men's Packs

Deuter technical and backpacking packs are offered in One Size for each volume, and feature an adjustable torso range. Please check the PRODUCT FEATURES and / or SPECIFICATIONS for the torso range measurements of a pack, and follow the steps below to determine your torso size.

Deuter hipbelts are adjustable to accommodate most any wearer.


HOW to MEASURE TORSO SIZE
1. Put your chin to your chest and feel for the big bone protruding on your neck at the top of your spine. That's the C7 vertebra.

2. Feel your hip bone, the top part of this is your iliac crest. Find the spot on your back that is level with the top of this crest.

3. Have someone measure the distance between these two points, following the contours of your spine.
