Rated 4 out of 5 by from A small wonder! I love this bag. I've had it for about two years and use it for trips from overnights to the 10 day I just spent in Thailand and Cambodia. It has fit in the smallest of overhead compartments and shad survived being checked on a budget airline in Asia. I'm by no means a 'light packer' but would suggest using packing cubes. I used a large, two mediums and a small, a small toiletry kit and pair of sneaker and still had plenty of room. Also took some school supplies and zipped them underneath the lining. The only 2 complaints that I have is that the bag shows dirt rather quickly and the wheels are starting to show wear and tear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still love it 3 years and over 150,000 airline miles later It took me quite a few bags to find the carry-on that suited me. This has been perfect. The weight is great, it is easy to pack and stuff more stuff in. I love the strap that allows me to clip the handles of a tote bag or purse to piggy back. The handles are in the perfect places to grab and lift. It is so easy to maneuver. The blue color is easy to identify among all the other carry ons on the luggage cart. My bag has traveled more times in the belly of the small CR 200's than in the clean overhead plane compartments and still looks great. It fits very nicely in the overhead plane compartments. I love this bag so much that now all my granddaughters have one. This is my favorite piece of Eagle Creek luggage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from packed more than I thought I could I used this suitcase to travel for a very long week-end (6 days). In addition to the clothes and everything else I would personally need for this trip, I also had to pack it full of items that my sister wanted from our local grocery store. I was pleasantly surprised that I filled one layer of the suitcase with goods and everything else fit in the rest of the space. Even though it was packed to the brim, the suitcase did not seem heavy. It was able to move quite swiftly and it was easy to lift it to put it into the overhead compartment. I wished there was more space on the dirty clothes chute, but it was still nice to have some of the dirty separate from the clean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reputation Preceeding First off, I haven't actually used the product. However, I did buy an Eagle Creek bag a dozen years ago when I first started going to the Sandbox. Twelve years later and I've dragged that old bag hundreds of thousand of miles, through the dust, grit, and slop of much of the Middle East and portions of the Third World. It's held on despite the abuses, with no rips or tears or broken anythings. While this new bag seems to use lighter weight materials than my old one, they appear carefully selected and I'm hoping for similar performance over time. The old bag, btw, is not being retired. I just wanted something smaller for shorter trips and/or as a supplemental bag.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from MEH hopefully they fixed this because I NEVER suspected that the bags have to be sent back to the factory in order to replace a wheel. My load warriors are around 10 years old, and I assumed EC had good product design, so I never pulled back the lining to see how wheels are mounted. On mine they are NOT user replaceable. I'd be afraid to use this luggage on a trip through airports where the bag has to roll. I had wheels fail on one of my bags and I need to be able to carry a spare set of wheels with me. Very poor design on my bags... check to see if they have fixed this before you buy

Rated 3 out of 5 by from T handle hurts but rest is good....... This is update of old favorite. My original Load warrior duffle version had good soft handles that narrowed slightly in middle for comfortable grip and later models had harsher and wider "soft" handles. But, with that caveat, I am comparing this item to that one. The handle has gone from U to T and T is not comfortable. It sits in webbing between fingers rather than on palm of hand. New outside pocket has moved from side of suitcase to top and intrudes into main compartment now. New front pocket is bigger. Soft handles a little too flexible, floppy. There is a new ring to help attach other pieces. The suitcase still opens so that the inside pocket zipper runs the long dimension so very accessible. Overall, the weight is down with handle change and a less rigid body. I hope that something can be done abut the T handle grip. It's a showstopper for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Design Flaw, Poor Service The first time I used this bag, the knot at one end of the "equipment keeper" cord pulled through its eyelet, rendering the cord useless. My first thought was to untie the knot, feed the cord back through the eyelet and tie a new knot -- but there is no access to the "other" side of the eyelet! Eagle Creek confirmed the problem, and sent me a Fedex label to send the bag for repair (crazy, right?). It gets better -- Fedex insisted on a box, which cost me 10% of the bag's purchase price, and Eagle Creek refused to reimburse me. The next time this happens (and it will), I will cut the bag's lining to fix the problem, and use duct tape on the lining -- what I would have done the first time if I had known the cost.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy it We purchased this because of the Eagle Creek name and lifetime warranty. The first time we used it, it ripped. Not only was I not allowed to return it, I had to either pay shipping or deliver it to the warranty center to get it fixed. I paid a lot for a bag that ripped on the first use, and now it is a complete hassle to get repaired. I would suggest staying away from Eagle Creek and their products. Extremely disappointing!
