Good Design -- Poor MaterialMy last purchase of Give-N-Go Boxers & Briefs was over 6-years ago. Amazing products, and if the elastic had not given out over that period, I would have kept using them.
I had expected the line-up to be updated, but to my surprise, when these boxers showed up -- they were super-duper thin, and single versus double layered. Not nearly as durable feeling as the old styles.
Gave them a shot, and for me -- a big bag of fail:
-- I'm a thick thigh guy, no gap, mostly rub. So within 1-week the inner thighs were piling.
-- I'm constantly picking these out of my butt. The material stretches way too much, and doesn't hold shape.
-- They smell. The old style, well you probably already know the old motto of ex officio...
Guess I'm back to hunt for a new underwear brand.

Pilling and pullingThis style is perfect for exercising, as it is barely noticeable on your body, even when wet from your workout. Problem: after the first washing, the shirt shows multiple lines where the knit has pulled and spots where it has pilled. It appears that hand washing will be required if these are to be avoided. Many won't care, but some will. Machine wash at your own risk if pilling is no particular concern.

Poor MaterialBeen wearing Exofficio for 10(?) or more years. Sadly I must report this product to be of poor quality. I bought four and exchanged three because of defective material. After one wash the material looks old and worn out so even after being extra careful about washing the shirts still look worn out. The material is way too delicate for every day wear. It's too bad as I love the other t-shirts (such as 17 counties. 6 weeks...) and wear them almost daily.

So goodI see a lot of people complaining about pulling and pilling, but come on, these are an extremely lightweight quickdry shirt. If I knew I was going to be getting into something that might tear at or snag my shirt, I wouldn't wear it. I use this as a standalone shirt because I like the design, and I'll also do it as an undershirt and workoutshirt

snagsI recently bought a couple of these and have them packed for return tomorrow. Thes e have snagged and caught on inexplicable things like my Vortex binocular strap, any thing at all rough and my fingers. I have always been more than satisfied with the many Exofficio items purchased in the past- thses are the exception.

Great feel and valueVery comfortable and good looking t-shirt to wear. However, one has to be careful because it seems to snare easily.

Globe Trotter from
Great fitLove the look and fit. As commented by several others, threads and pilling seen after the first wash. Have to handle it with kid gloves to avoid this from happening which goes against the grain of the brand. Same issue with give and go underwear. Hope you address this very common complaint
