Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shoe sizing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The team 5.10 is an aggressive shoe great for steep bouldering. The shoe is sized small and narrow. I wanted an aggressive fit for sending my projects and thought I would need to size down considerably from my street shoe size 9. After trying an 8 and 8 1/2, I found the 9 to be perfect size. My big toe was bent and the heel was very snug. The toe box is a tight fit and the shoe will not stretch due to the rubber covered toe. As reference, I wear an 8 in Anasazi Velcro’s. Hope this helps!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible rubber, edging, heal and toe box I think that the age old question 5.10 or la sportiva for an aggressive shoe ultimately comes down to your foot's proportions and your personal preferences. Size it true to size and you will be gifted with incredibly sticky rubber, and the best heal design on the market (in my opinion). If you feel inclined to downsize, (I have in the past and don't see the value in this shoe) I would not recommend going further than .5 down and definitely not more than 1. I wear a 9.5 street and got these in a 9.5.

HOW to MEASURE
FOOT MEASUREMENT: Place a piece of paper on the floor, against a wall. Place your heel against the wall / on the edge of the paper and mark where your longest toe ends. Repeat this step with the other foot. Take the LONGER of the two foot measurements and refer to the size guide above to help determine your Five Ten climbing shoe size.
