Rated 5 out of 5 by from Suction cup vice grips on holds! I've had these for over a year and they allow amazing performance which is especially noticeable on steep climbs with tiny foot holds. Also, you can heel hook things that seem un-hookable! You can climb anything with these, however, don't waste them on your warm up routes. Save them for your project. They are tight and shouldn't really be warn for "comfort" reasons. After 2-3 hrs of only wearing them to climb (ie/ taking them off in-between routes/pitches/boulder problems) they can cause the toes to ache unlike less aggressive slippers. Wear them for superior performance. I love the BlackWings. They are super tight. Do not downsize.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for bouldering First of all, I have pretty narrow feet, esp. heels, and Five Ten is just about the only brand that fits me well. This is my first pair of aggressive shoes, and so far so good. The rubber on these shoes are excellent...really sticky but not too thick. It takes some getting used to, but they're decently comfy and made well. Btw, I wear a size 7 in the Five Ten Rogue, but I needed an 8.5 for this shoe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Shoe Overall I really liked this shoe for bouldering this past season. I have somewhat of a 'heel deficiency' for heel hooks and all of my shoes in the past have come off....however, this shoe stayed on my heel like a dream. They took a little while to break in, but overall I loved them.
