Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Fjallraven Kiruna Liner Jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has become my primary jacket of choice and gets worn daily. At 5'10", 175 lbs. the size Large is a great fit. In most other makers I would wear a Medium but recommend sizing up for this one. It is just snug enough to look good but still allows room for a light layer underneath if I choose. Hand pockets and inside pocket are all quite well sized and adequate. Weight is perfect for all but the very coldest temps. I'm comfortable on early morning walks down to 20 degrees F.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and warm [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great as a light sweater - type garment under a larger coat or an outer jacket when it's not too cold. They want me to write more but I don't have anything else to say.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Time will tell... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as I am looking for the perfect layer to work under motorcycle touring/dual sport jackets. As such, is has some pluses and minuses. Pluses, it's light, has a high collar and a backer for the main zipper to seal out wind. The zipper is two way which is important on a bike as you can unzip the bottom to accomodated for being in a seated position. It looks good and not like an afterthought. I could wear this under motorcycle gear anywhere in the world and be able to walk into a nice restaurant with it on. Negatives I am 6'0" 230lbs w/ broad shoulders and Fjallraven in xl is just the tiniest bit nug on me but I like the overall look/fit in general. That said, there is no flexability in the shoulders and raising your arms causes the whole piece to ride up on you. This is not a big deal on a motorcycle but I would not recomend this as a layering piece for skiing or anythin active for that matter. It needs a gusset or stretchy material in back to work as an active piece (plus I think you would overheat very quickly in this if you were running around). Overall a decent quality piece, just not perfect

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice lightweight jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a different lighter fall/spring jacket, not so much to be used as a liner. I'm pleasantly surprised with most aspects. I doubt it would stay dry in heavy rains but with a light or medium sprinkle it seems to bead up just fine. Where it excels is wind resistance. It's not completely windproof, but for a light softshell it's better than any other jackets I've owned. It's sufficiently warm into the low 40's in Michigan even with just a tshirt underneath, and unzipped it cuts the chill of higher temps without making you sweat. It basically does the job of a zipper fleece without being heavy, and while being more water and wind resistant. Sizing is still off. I just bought a parka from the same brand in a size that should be too small and this is no different. That said, depending on your body type you may need to stick with the size you SHOULD need, or size up, depending on how you look at it. Chest is approx 40" without cinching the tape tight, and I bought a Medium. It has just enough room to not feel "too tight" in the chest while being snug and having some room to move, but if you have a gut you're gonna feel this jacket when it's zipped up. I will say the double-ended zipper is a nice touch on this because if it is too snug arounf the belly/waist, you can just undo the bottom zipper a few inches, almost like an untucked dress shirt. THAT said, the zipper is small on this, so feeding the thing is a bit of a chore sometimes. The outer material is thin, as expected, but I have to be careful wearing it at work for fear of snagging it and tearing it. It's not perfect but it does the job it needs to and for a decent price.
