Very Durable![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the durability of the shoe was what I was looking for, I had to send them back since they were too narrow for my feet. I need a bigger toe box!
Hey there, thanks for your question.
These lack any sort of a heel groove or welt which would be necessary for heavier duty crampons with hybrid or stepin bindings. That being said, they would work with pretty well with some strap-on style crampons.
I hope this helps!
FIT GUIDE Garmont Boots tend to fit true to measured size with a normal sock. However Garmont recommends sizing up a half size if your feet have a tendency to swell under heavy activity or you prefer thicker socks. Most of Garmont's boots and shoes utilize extended lacing which allows you to fine-tune the fit around your forefoot.
Garmont has four different fits depending on how you would like your footwear to feel. On the individual product description page you will find one of these four labels. To help you understand what to expect when you try on your new Garmont. All Garmont shoes and boots feature an anatomically shaped rear foot area designed to hold your heel securely.
