Great for everyday useLots of room in this pack. I use this for travel and for attending conferences. It has a lot of room for gear and my clothing in the main compartment and a very nice cushioned zippered back pocket that fits my MacBook Pro. Nice front pocket that has space for pens and small stuff. Top lid has two pockets and I usually have papers stored up there. It also very stylish and closes up very tight. My only gripe is the water bottle pocket on the side is bit small and has a rubber lining inside. A bit tough to get my bottle in and out. But that small detail has not stopped me from having this bag with me on almost every trip.

Everything I wanted in a daypackI have been looking for everything in a daypack that this one has to offer: Maximum capacity that I would be willing to tote on my back, 30 liters, enough for long-distance inn-to-inn hiking. But compression straps to scrunch it down for a casual birdwatching stroll or to take on a plane as a personal item. Excellent organization and laptop sleeve, which I can imagine might double as a hydration bladder pocket. Excellent quality. Classic trim appearance. Beautiful color, topaz and coral. Water pocket, perhaps a little tight but anything looser would have detracted from its appearance. Detachable waist strap. Comfortable shoulder straps. And high carry; I hate packs that sag down around the lumbar region. I will also be using this for car travel, as secondary to my Red Oxx safari bag; it can hold all my books and papers, as well as bowls and food for for Lllewellin setter and Dutch shepherd.
Hey Christine L, thanks for the question! This backpack is approximately 23.25" x 12.75" x 7.5" and weighs just under 3 lbs. I'll make sure we get that added to this page as soon as possible, I hope this helps!
Gregory backpacking packs are available in a size range. Please check the PRODUCT FEATURES and / or SPECIFICATIONS for the torso range measurements of each size of a pack. The steps below are a guide for measuring your torso size.
The hipbelts on Gregory backpacking packs are adjustable to fit a range of sizes. A simple rule of thumb is that the ideal distance between the ends of the hipbelt pads after tightening should be 3 to 5 inches. However, the most important criteria are that the hipbelt wraps clear over the side of your body and that it rests 1 inch above your iliac crest. This allows proper load transfer to your skeletal structure, which maximizes comfort and minimizes energy expenditure.
HOW to MEASURE TORSO SIZE 1. Put your chin to your chest and feel for the big bone protruding on your neck at the top of your spine. That's the C7 vertebra.
2. Feel your hip bone, the top part of this is your iliac crest. Find the spot on your back that is level with the top of this crest.
3. Have someone measure the distance between these two points, following the contours of your spine.
