Rated 5 out of 5 by from Killer Product Hands down the best pack I have ever owned. Outstanding pocket arrangement for organization, adjustable suspension that fits surprisingly snugly, several ergonomic features that make perfect sense—one of the best designed products I’ve ever owned. I bought this last month and just put it through its first test, a 5 day trek through the backcountry. I crossed scree slopes, steep snow-covered hillsides, mud bogs, fallen trees, and slick river crossings--the pack carried a heavy load well and made negotiating obstacles a relatively stress-free experience. I can't really comment on long-term durability yet, but this was one of the most demanding treks I've done and this pack made me happy every time I put it on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Backpack I bought this backpack about a month ago and have been on two backpacking trips. It took me about 7 miles to get all of the adjustments right and now it is absolutely perfect. It is very comfortable and feels like regular day-pack; all of the pockets are well positioned. I love that you can access the main compartment from the front. The backpack also came with a little removable day-pack that is very handy. Over all I am very happy about the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Comfortable Backpack! This is one comfortable pack! It is a little on the heavier side, but the comfort and nifty compartments are definitely worth it. Love the included daypack and the fact that a rain cover is included. I had to exchange mine for a 65 since most of my gear is compressible enough. But I am loving the pack for multi day trips because it feels like heaven on your back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb This backpack is sturdy, well design, and the material is very resistant. It is also comfortable to carry. Shoulder straps, hip belt and lower back support combine to offer a superb suspension. It offers a lot of room and zippered pockets to accommodate cloths, equipment and food for a week-long trip. Among the practical features I like of this bag are the hydration sleeve that can double as a day pack, and the included rain cover. I have no complains on this Gregory Baltoro pack. I am sure it will last many years of traveling and abuse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A keeper Got this a few weeks ago to compare to the Osprey Atmos 65 AG Pack. I like the fit and features of the Baltoro better and took the Osprey Atmos back. Easy to access compartmentss, snowshoes fit on easily. Water resistant belt compartment for camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gregory packs are the best Got a great deal on this pack, it replaced my old Baltoro pack that I've been using heavily for over 8 years. My old pack is actually still being used (although it isn't pretty) for canyoning but I finally decided to get a new one for hiking only and I love it. Gregory is still the best company for packs, no competition. One thing to remember is the important thing about a backpack is not the weight of the pack, but how it makes weight feel on your back. "Apparent weight" is more important that actual weight, these packs are heavy, but they make heavy packs feel light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this pack I absolutely love this pack. Had used an Osprey Aether 70 for years and was a little nervous and switching to something else but I've been so happy using this pack. Incredibly comfortable, tough, and love all the pockets. Did several backpacks in the Sierras with it last summer and can't wait for next backpacking season. I liked my Osprey pack but I like this pack even more. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Massive Pack Carries an impressive amount of gear, seems sturdy and I think it is well-designed, no issues so far. I did however contact Gregory to switch out the hip belt for a medium size (from the Large sized Pack that I purchased). No charge to do that and the fit is much better.
