Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Backpacking Pack I have used this pack a handful of times, and I am always impressed with how much it can hold, and how comfortable it is to carry even when bursting at the seams. Easy access to your stuff is key in a pack this size, and Gregory made sure that the main compartment was easy to access from multiple points. The shoulder straps are comfortable on long days and the hip strap is very supportive and doesn't dig in. Outside storage pockets are easily accessible for things like maps, snacks and your phone/camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite backpack in the family! This pack has every little feature/pocket that you need while backpacking. I was a little unsure of the price and whether or not it would be worth it at first. However, my fiancé bought the off brand equivalent to this pack at the same time and we tried them out together. The Gregory DEVA surpassed her choice by far. She ended up returning hers and buying a Gregory DEVA for herself. My favorite features are the shoulder straps, lumbar support, water bottle pocket, and the bungee trap on the shoulder strap. But there are many more wonderful features. I went on to buy my younger sister and niece Gregory wander packs for their birthdays as well and they both love them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality is excellent but the fit was not right for me I planned to use this on a weekend backpacking trip. I had it filled with my gear plus 2L water bladder. My total weight was 25 lbs. It was so uncomfortable. It kept sliding down my back. I used the size chart to insure I purchase the proper size. I'm 5'3" 125-size XS. I also went to a local sporting goods store to get my measurements for a pack. I adjusted and readjusted the shoulder straps and hip belt several times. The worst part was it would slide down my lower back almost under my tailbone. It would push my pants down so it looked like I was sagging my pants:(. I tried different shorts with it and it would do the same thing. I was lucky we had a very cheap pack I was able to use in its place. It was not the right fit for me. That being said the pack is extremely well made with a ton of pockets to put gear. I loved all the separate places for storage. I had a lot of room for more gear if needed. I wish it would have worked fit wise. I think if it fits you, you will love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than 6000 miles on my Deva I have a disclaimer. I am not an ultralight backpacker. I like my bells and whistles. Which is why I am in love with the Deva 60L pack. I've put 6,000+ miles on 2 different versions (2011 and 2014) of the Deva packs during various multi-day trips, as well as 2 thru hikes. Comfort and pockets have always been the winning features for me. On the 2014 updated version, I fell in love with the waterproof hip belt pocket, as my thru hike in New Zealand was VERY RAINY. I love that the rain cover comes included for the updated pack. I also love the sidekick bag. For a thru hiker who sometimes has town errands, it is a nice bonus to have a smaller pack to take around. In terms of comfort, I've always felt like Gregory packs do not skimp on cushioning and fit, maybe to a fault since the Deva is heavier than competitor packs. I try out other packs to broaden my horizons, but I'll be surprised if my Deva doesn't go with me on my next thru hike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Backpack! I am really happy with this backpack! I ordered a different brand prior and sent it back due to sizing issues. So I was a bit leery when Gregory's size chart showed I would be a size small (I'm 5'8".) To my surprise, the pack fits perfect! I love the side kick bag as I was in need of a hydration backpack anyways. I bought the Gregory compatible 3L hydration pack to go with it. The color is more muted than the website images, which I am really happy about. The bag is perfect for weekends or even weeklong treks. All of the compartments are better than I could have imagined. A huge plus is the new version of the Deva fits an iPhoneX in the waterproof hip pocket. Stoked with this purchase. #sweepstakes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and Reliably Load Carrier I have used my Gregory Deva for the past two years for trips ranging from 1 - 5 days. These trips have been everywhere from summer alpine lake hopping to the summit of Mt. Rainier. My Deva has been a constant companion and carries loads big and small (25 - 50 pounds) like a champion. This is a cadillac pack - you can certainly find them lighter - but I find it to be worth the extra base weight. This pack has excellent lumbar support and a great padded waist belt for load support. The side pockets are also amazing for quick reach items without needing to open the main pack body. I love this pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used and abused the 2015 version then upgraded to the 2018 The 2015 pack was the first pack I owned. The few minor grievances I had with it were upgraded in the 2018 version, which is why I purchased a new one. I've had to work a little more to 'break in' the 2018 pack, but I assume a few hard trips will help. I love everything about the pack. It is a heavier pack but the features and comfort it provides are worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great backpack! I tried this backpack and also the Osprey Ariel and Aura backpacks. This one is a bit stiffer and not as cushioned than the Osprey brands but once I had weight in the backpack, I could feel the difference in support. The Gregory backpack felt like it gave me more support, more balance, and was more structured. I was surprised to see how much I liked this backpack as it was not quite as soft as the others. The weight in this one is comparable to other brands now. I love this backpack! Plus the blue color with pink accents are great! I was able to fit a 40oz hydroflask in the side which did not fall out when I bent over to pick things up. It also comes with a pink rainfly and a detachable daypack. The only (minor) complaint I have is that the drawstring broke on the first trip that I had and I could not compress the top part of my backpack. It was easily repairable at home though. Size Guide

Gregory Women's Packs

Gregory backpacking packs are available in a size range. Please check the PRODUCT FEATURES and / or SPECIFICATIONS for the torso range measurements of each size of a pack. The steps below are a guide for measuring your torso size.

The hipbelts on Gregory backpacking packs are adjustable to fit a range of sizes. A simple rule of thumb is that the ideal distance between the ends of the hipbelt pads after tightening should be 3 to 5 inches. However, the most important criteria are that the hipbelt wraps clear over the side of your body and that it rests 1 inch above your iliac crest. This allows proper load transfer to your skeletal structure, which maximizes comfort and minimizes energy expenditure.

1. Put your chin to your chest and feel for the big bone protruding on your neck at the top of your spine. That's the C7 vertebra.

2. Feel your hip bone, the top part of this is your iliac crest. Find the spot on your back that is level with the top of this crest.

3. Have someone measure the distance between these two points, following the contours of your spine.
