Surprisingly Warm/stretches a lotI’m astonished at how warm this relatively thin “jacket”?? Is. It’s not really a jacket, it’s more like a thick fleece shirt. But wow!! It kept me really warm on a 20-30F hike with wind. Love the hood too, it hugs around your face covering a portion of your chin. The one thing I didn’t like was that after sweating a bit, it tends to stretch out pretty significantly. I didn’t experience any activity where this was an issue, nor did it lose its warmth. But it will stretch a lot when it heats up and gets damp.

Helly Hansen Men's HH Merino Fleece Hooded JacketThe good: the jacket fit nice and had decent lightweight warmth.
The bad: when I washed it, the jacket shed so bad, it ruined the clothes washed with them. I had to de-lint each item by hand to remove the lint. There were handfuls and handfuls and handfuls of lint. It was worse then a cheap blanket sheds. The cheap blanket is the only reference I can give as I've never had any other wool item do this.
