Perfect for short ladies and daily wear!I have worn these every day for the last three weeks! They are super cute and comfortable, although a thicker sock makes them feel more secure and still easy to slip on without being too snug (the boot flops on my foot with thin socks). I have a wider foot and normally wear a 6 1/2 but went with the 6. I wanted the tall boots but being 5'2" and finding the short boot, I decided to give them a try. SO glad I did. They hit me mid-shin and are the perfect height with no weird bending or rubbing. They go great with dresses, jeans, and have been perfect for gardening and yard work.

Too tightI have always longed for a lot of hunter boots however I was quickly disappointed. My calves do not fit in the tall boots so I thought I would give the short ones a try. What a fail! These boots were a struggle to get on and sadly they barely fit my calves however way too tight (I would only be able to wear them with leggings) it’s such a shame how their styles are inclusive to people of all sizes. I ended up returning them and ordering the short adjustable boot however none of the colors they have are as appealing as the original style. I ended up returning them as well because I’ve always wanted hunter boots in a bright color. My hope is that you stock more colors in the adjustable style and perhaps then I’d consider purchasing again

I love my boots but when taking them off I have to be careful to not step on the others boots side and then cause even more rubbing and discoloration. In cold weather my feet freeze even with thick carhart socks and maybe your hunter boot
liners work, but since I haven't tried them I'd say that would be a place where you could improve. In summer I can't even wear the boots because my feet would melt off because of how hot the boots get, they have no circulation, which
would also help with the cold. Otherwise from those problems I have started a trend at my school, got multiple compliments and can jump in puddles!

Too hard to get feet into!I bought this pair of boots for gardening after finding the Hunter gardener boot ran too large for me (even a size smaller). Unfortunately these boots didn't work either. I had a hard time getting into them as the ankle area was too tight. Once I was in them, they felt great - true to size. But getting out of them was even harder. I couldn't do it. My husband had to pull hard to get my feet out. I was wearing a relatively thin pair of socks. I'm a small woman with small feet (size 6). Aside from that issue, the boot appeared to be of high quality. Too bad they didn't work for me.

Only wore them once and the cement was only wet, no puddles but the boots were comfortable and kept my feet dry.The only thing that was disappointing was the sizing. I originally bought the tall boots a size 8 and they were way too big.
My daughter tried them on and they fit her, so I did not return them. Then I purchased the short boot in a size 7, and they fit. I decided to get the short boot due to the tall ones on me came beyond my knees and I felt this would be
annoying to wear with the boots at that height.

Super cute, but it rubs on shin and calfJust bought these boots and wore with socks in the house to test them out and the top would rub against my shins and then calves.. I am planning on keeping them because the price was amazing, but already looking at the Hunter boot liner/sock! Color is great and really cute overall!

They’re okayThese are my first pair of rain boots I’ve ever owned so I don’t have much to compare it to. I love that they’re vegan but I wish they were a bit more comfortable. I’m in SoCal so it doesn’t rain or get cold here much. I started using them to walk the dogs when it’s raining. They love to explore puddles so I used to always wear grippy sandals and I would just dry my feet afterwords. These boots definitely keep my feet dry and warm but they’re just not very comfortable. Overall though, they’re nice and effective so I’ll happily continue to use them. Might add in one of those shoe inserts for more comfort.

Need half sizesReally love the boots but really don’t understand why hunter doesn’t make half sizes. 7 fits but 8 is too big. In the winter with winter socks the 7 is really tight but if I bought the 8 I would not be able to wear it in the spring or summer with thinner socks. Making half sizes would fix this issue.
For the price people pay, they should only be leaving 5 star reviews. (& I would be otherwise)
HOW to MEASURE for FOOT / INSOLE LENGTH STEP ONE: Stand up straight on a hard surface with your heel against the wall and a piece of blank paper taped to the floor, flush against the wall beneath your foot.
STEP TWO: Mark the longest part of your foot (referred to as heel-to-toe length) on the paper with a pen or pencil. Repeat with the other foot, as right and left sizes may be different.
STEP THREE: Measure the longest part of your foot, taking the measurement from the back of your heel to the end of your big toe. Women should add 6mm to this measurement to allow for movement and room when the boot is used. This combined measurement will be your insole length, which you will find on the size guide above.
HOW to MEASURE CALVES STEP ONE: To find your calf measurement sit down on a chair with your knee bent at a 90-degree angle and your foot flat on the floor.
STEP TWO: Measure your calf at the widest part without pulling the measuring tape tight.
STEP THREE: Measure both calves. If there is a different in the measurement, Hunter suggests going with the larger measurement when determining a size.
NOTES The size info in this guide is based on the Hunter Original Tall Boot. Please note Hunter boot styles may vary slightly in size and fit, but not enough that you should alter your ideal size selection.
Hunter recommends measuring your feet and calves while wearing socks that would be worn with the boots.
If you are usually between sizes, Hunter recommends sizing up when selecting a size of their footwear.
