The Hunter Women's Original Tall Boot is a tall rain boot for the wettest days of the season. Welly, welly-gogs, wellybobs or just plain boots if you're not British, they're made of 100% rubber and 100% waterproof. Splash through puddles while trying to make it on time to work or trudge through the tall, wet grass as a shortcut through the local park. The matte exterior gives a classic style that shows off when pulled over your jeans, leggings, or whatever you're wearing on your legs.

Product Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Look Great I just received my boots, They are adorable and I love how they look on. I order my normal shoe size 8 and the foot fits great. However, the calf area is very tight. My legs are not big, I consider them average as I have no problems with any other tall boot and there is very little room. The only pants that I can wear with them are leggings or jeggins. I also ordered the boot socks and they are adorable and great quality, however with how tight the calves are I don't know if I'll be able to wear them and be comfortable. So this is disappointing to me. Over all I do like the boots just wish they had more calf room. I was on the fence about sending them back, but decided to keep them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These boots check all the boxes for me. These boots are everything I had hoped for and more. They are exactly as they look in print. They slip on and off easily and are quite comfortable. I, personally, have three distinct difficulties when buying high boots: my ankle has been fused as to be immobile due to injuries from a car accident so boots have to have sufficient ankle space to accommodate my inability to flex my ankle; I have larger calves due to exercise so the shaft needs to be wide enough; and lastly, I’m petite, so it’s difficult for me to find high boots that actually stop under my kneecap. These boots meet all my needs and seem durable enough to last a very long time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Calves too narrow I’ve wanted these boots for years and was so excited to finally order them. I measured and was kind of between a 10 and an 11 for my foot, but even the 11 was borderline too small in the calf. So I gave the 11 a shot hoping it’d work out, but it was way too tight in the calf even without any socks. I was so disappointed. I don’t have particularly large calves. I’ve never had a boot be too tight in the calves ever in my life and I have DOZENS of boots. These must be for women with a very specific body type. if you have muscular or meaty calves and/or aren’t quite petite, these may not fit you. my legs are very average and did not fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Break them in! These boots are beautiful Exactly as pictured but they’re really really hard to get off! I’m usually a U.S.size 9. Before I bought these I tried on the same boot in store and I needed a size 8. They’re really hard to get off my foot keeps getting stuck at the ankle part because the material is so thick. But after reading some reviews this is normal but once you were them for a while and break them in the rubber starts too soften a little. Other than that I love these boots! I got them for Christmas so I’ve only worn them once for about 3 hours. I also had on the boot socks it wasn’t super cold outside about 54 degrees and I thought my feet would be extremely hot and sweaty and uncomfortable but it was the opposite. I’ll probably buy another pair soon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaking Boot I bought tall rain boots again within the last year. They are my third pair to crack and leak above the gusset. I wear them all the time, gardening, working in the woods and fishing, so probably I wear them more than most people. The side adjustment strap catches on things so the one on the back is better, and the shiny rubber does not form to your foot as easily as the duller rubber.I keep buying them because I like the way they look, they are tall, narrow and have arch support but I am disappointed they don't wear better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality I bought these for my daughter as a Christmas present. The seam in the back above the ankle on the right boot is split. It has split all the way through the lining which is very painful when wearing and walking. The split is so bad, I can put my finger clear through the book. For the price and reputation of this company, I expected to get many years of wear out of these. To add insult to injury, I can no longer find the receipt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I live in California and I bought myself a pair of these to prepare for El Nino...which lets be honest, really only hit parts of the state which I unfortunately don't live in. I was able to use my boots a few times though and they definitely helped. I first tried a pair of these boots when I visited a friend in Seattle, WA and it poured on us. Her and I wear the same size shoe so she let me borrow her boots since my shoes got soaked...the boots worked wonders in Seattle as well. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone and if you are not a fan of the tall ones you can always opt for the shorter boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love these boots. The 7 fits me perfectly. I henerally wear a 7.5 or 8 shoe. I am able to wear fluffy socks with them. My only concern is the buckle. I am not sure if the strap already came fed through the buckle? One of the boots buckle and strap does not stay together. I have put it through exactly like the other boot. I am wondering if it is broken. Are there any videos to show how to correctly feed it through? Is there a chance it is brocken?

Size Guide

Hunter Women's Footwear

SIZE 5 6 7 8 9 10 11
Insole Length 9.1" 9.6" 9.9" 10" 10.6" 10.8" 11.2"
Max Calf Area 14.4" 14.6" 14.9" 15.2" 15.5" 15.8" 16.1"
UK Size 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
EU Size 36 37 38 39 40 / 41 42 43

STEP ONE: Stand up straight on a hard surface with your heel against the wall and a piece of blank paper taped to the floor, flush against the wall beneath your foot.

STEP TWO: Mark the longest part of your foot (referred to as heel-to-toe length) on the paper with a pen or pencil. Repeat with the other foot, as right and left sizes may be different.

STEP THREE: Measure the longest part of your foot, taking the measurement from the back of your heel to the end of your big toe. Women should add 6mm to this measurement to allow for movement and room when the boot is used. This combined measurement will be your insole length, which you will find on the size guide above.

STEP ONE: To find your calf measurement sit down on a chair with your knee bent at a 90-degree angle and your foot flat on the floor.

STEP TWO: Measure your calf at the widest part without pulling the measuring tape tight.

STEP THREE: Measure both calves. If there is a different in the measurement, Hunter suggests going with the larger measurement when determining a size.

The size info in this guide is based on the Hunter Original Tall Boot. Please note Hunter boot styles may vary slightly in size and fit, but not enough that you should alter your ideal size selection.

Hunter recommends measuring your feet and calves while wearing socks that would be worn with the boots.

If you are usually between sizes, Hunter recommends sizing up when selecting a size of their footwear.
