[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have mug envy when I go camping and now I feel like I can be part of the cool crowd! Everything about this Hydro Flask mug screams premium and does not disappoint! It keep my coffee warm all morning long and the non-skid outer coating helps me from spilling any drops of my liquid gold in the morning! It's minor, but one of the things that I REALLY like about this mug is that the top slider snaps off so that you can really give the entire top a good cleaning which is not something that I have seen with any other cups like this...so that is a VERY nice to have feature!

While I dont have issues in drinking my coffee too slow, I do always prefer my coffee to be piping hot. I always hate that after 15 minutes my drink it cold and not as enjoyable. This mug changed everything for me. It is well designed and insulated great. The size is perfect for my coffee and whip cream every morning. It is easy to clean and I will always hand wash it.With the cooler months coming up I can see myself using this for cider or hot cocoa while sitting outside in the cool air. I love this color too, so perfectly purple without being bright and obnoxious.

Rated 2 out of 5 by SammyB from Mug review Fails to live up to expectations. My wife and I have Hydroflasks for drinking ice water and they are GREAT. Water is cold even the next day. I was so excited to buy this mug for my wife on Valentine's Day. However, after leaving for work and leaving her a hot mug of coffee, it failed to keep it hot. the temperature of the coffee dropped a full 20 degrees within a half hour of pouring, and within an hour and a half was very tepid. Also, the lid leaks upon the slightest tilt, making it not great for morning routines. Overall, i would not recommend this mug or purchase it again.

The external material feels great to the touch, is nonslip, and protects hands from the heat. Downsides - lid is not leak proof so if you tilt the mug too far liquid will drip from the rim and from the top even in closed position. Normal tilt to sip works fine so no big concerns just an area of risk.For those who wear lipstick, the material of the top is not ideal and stains. Even after scrubbing there is still some stain, but just an aesthetic annoyance. Otherwise love the colors, heat retention, and overall functionality. Happy with my purchase.

I like my hot coffee when I get up. I like to sip on my coffee as I watch the news. I have no problem with my Hydro Flash mug keeping my coffee hot. The Hydro Flash keeps my coffee hot even when I am traveling for hours. My coffee stays hot and doesn’t splash when traveling. I like the 12 oz size mug because it holds more coffee than my 8 oz coffee cups. It also nice that Hydro Flask supports non-profit organizations. The only complaint I have the size being to big to fit in my cup holder when traveling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FawnH from Fantastic [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In a perfect world, this coffee mug would fit perfectly in my car cup holder, and the lid would have a close/open tab, and I could take it with me in the mornings when I drop my kids off at school. But, it's not a perfect world, and this cup is too big to fit in the cup holder, and the opening on the lid does not close. However, having said that, I do love that it's quite big which can hold a good amount of coffee. And of course, it is a Hydroflask. So, it keeps my hot drinks hot, and that is precisely the point. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bianca S from Great mug, annoying lid. Love the mug, hate the lid! While the drinks stay hot and the shape/weight of the mug feels great, the lid itself is an every day hassle. Getting the sliding piece out from the cap requires using a spoon or butterknife to pop out to properly clean. This means the entire back of the sliding piece has started to become damaged and dented, just due to the amount of force it takes to pop out. Bummed that after only having this mug for less than a month, the sliding lid mechanism is already starting to look ragged. Still love the mug, but attempting to clean the lid is the worst.

I drink coffee every day, multiple times throughout the day, and I have for the longest time been using a travel mug, even when I've been sitting at my desk. It never really dawned on me that being able to hold my coffee in a mug shaped more like a traditional coffee cup would enhance the experience, but it really has, and I now use it exclusively at my desk. Of course, the mug doesn't really work well as a travel cup, but I still have my old traveler for use in my car, and for people that drink as much coffee as I do, you probably should have at least two or more cups that you use anyway. I'm extremely happy with the purchase, and I'm also thinking of adding the 24 oz. mug as well.
