I've used it as I was a wildland firefighter perfect size to carry on the fire line. And I also use it now working on an ambulance as a paramedic it fits right into the built in cup holders. Holds ice for over 24hrs. The different attachments make it more adaptable to any situation. I like the straw lid since I'm always on the move I dont have to worry about trying to drink while my partner is driving or even on a hike I can keep moving. Bought this for myself and one for a gift and they loved it! Wouldnt trade it for any other bottle.

I take it everywhere I go, whether it be to school, or to work. I've had no issues whatsoever with my hydroflask and I've found that it holds heat and cold in very well. I also decided to purchase a straw lid for mine and it has helped me to drink more water than I ever have without even thinking about it. I absolutely recommend that anyone gets this bottle, and I especially recommend that you also purchase the straw lid attachment and throw a few ice cubes in there. That said, with the normal lid, it keeps tea very hot.

I carry my ice water in it and it keeps the water so cold all day. I’ve also used it for coffee. It has an additional stainless steel lid that helps keep my coffee hot. I love that the flask is dishwasher safe. It’s made out of Pro-grade stainless steel and is BPA and toxin free. It has a double wall vacuum insulation that keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for hours. It’s wide mouth construction allows for easy filling. I am very happy with this Hydro Flask and I do recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by joglenzinski from Had to get So I got this bottle for my boyfriend so he would stop using mine. I have a 32 oz hydro flask. He always brings two cups of water to bed, finishes them, and then starts drinking out of mine! Sometimes he’ll have his own water and drink out of my hydro flask because it’s colder than his. I finally got him his own, but a 40 oz in the color he liked. He lugs it EVERYWHERE with him. The only thing he doesn’t like is the plastic mouth piece on the straw lid. Mine has a rubber mouth piece and he likes that better, but I personally think the plastic is easier to clean and stays cleaner. These things are worth every penny and last forever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by js223 from Size is more manageable than I thought! I had my 32 oz for over 2 years before getting this one and I have to say, it’s worth the price. Nothing is wrong with my 32oz, I just found myself more busy and needed something to last longer, and it does. The size is what made me hesitant, but it’s very manageable. It fits in my car cup holder when I remove the rubber protector (used to fit smaller drinks as well) and my bookbag side pockets work with it too. I do recommend getting a straw lid along with it, that comes in handy a lot!

We upgraded to the straw lids (several of the old style failed, as the little O-Ring on top would degrade. Luckily Customer Service is some of the best in the industry, and replacements were always sent out! We recently upgraded to the new style, and they seem engineered better). Whether keeping coffee warm when its below freezing, or water cold on 100 degree days, these water bottles are great. I wish they would fit in out vehicles cup holders, which is the only downside. They do dent easily, but we purchased the bottom silicone protectors, which have saved us several times.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Clair28 from Dents Easily For the price I assumed it would be great quality. I have about 5 days with my Hydro Flask and I dropped it from 1-2 feet and it dented. It landed bottom first then it tipped over, so now it has 3 dents from that one fall. I’ve had a TAL water bottle and I’ve dropped it so many times in the span of 3 years and it wouldn’t dent. The only reason I bought a hydro was because I liked that it had a straw mouth piece which was a more convenient access to drinking water. With the TAL I had to unscrew the mouth piece to drink water and screw it back to close it. I’m just disappointed, I had high hopes for the hydro flask:

Rated 5 out of 5 by jhmack from Best water bottle EVER! I received my HydroFlask as a gift several years ago and it went with me everywhere! I dropped it a few times and it became dented and still worked magnificently and became a permanent part of my life as it went with me everywhere! I measure my water consumption daily and this made it so easy. Unfortunately, I was hurrying to catch an airplane last week and my favorite companion, my Hydro Flask, got left behind at the gate! I asked the airline to try and find it but, I am pretty sure someone decided to give it a new home, and I am devastated! May it have a long and happy life with its new owner. I will have to get a replacement soon as I am lost without it!

Is the base cup holder friendly

Thank you for your question! It depends on the cup holder but more than likely, no. For example, I cannot fit it in my center console cup holder but I can wedge it into the one in my door. The diameter of the base is 3.58 inches. Hope that helps!
