Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable, Warm, questionable durability [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thermal zip is very comfortable and fits well. The durability and/or quality may be suspect because within two weeks of me owning this shirt and two machine washings, there is already a tiny hole on the chest where a strand of yarn in the knit broke. I may have drawn the wrong straw because most of the icebreaker products I own hold up well. However, those are also tighter knits, and some of them contain nylon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Great Icebreaker Tech Top [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is another great Icebreaker product. I use this for my GA mountain hikes. The zip top gives good coverage in cool/cold mornings that can be zipped down for more breathability as the day warms up. Icebreaker was my go to tops and underwear for my AT jaunt. A great product from an excellent company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Icebreaker 260 perfect as base layer or on its own [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three of the lighter 200-thickness base layer quarter zips and wanted something I could wear both as an outer shirt or under a sweater. I got a size large based on the online fitting instructions (my other base-layers are size M) and it’s perfect. Looser than the medium but not floppy. And amazingly soft.

Wanted to try Icebreaker this year, it arrived and looks to be much better construction than the other well known brand, and I am so happy! I am sure he will love it.
