Icebreaker must hire wizards or employ magic sheepI've been buying Icebreaker 260 thermal tops for about a decade. I normally avoid wool products but Icebreaker stuff is like magic. Warm without bulk, I feel dry even when I sweat, and never an itch (which is the true fairy dust aspect of This latest addition doesn't disappoint. I take one star off to get their attention because as I get older, I wish they offered the same 260 awesomeness in a cut that was a bit more, ahem, accommodating for more my athletic but desk-bound bod. But really, that's probably my fault, not theirs!

Body Fit zone 260I have this in the 1/4 zip purchased about 6 years ago. My only complaint is that with regular use the body fit zones wear out in the armpits. I've found the 260 tech long is much more durable and longer lasting. I also prefer the 1/4 zip b/c I'm not the biggest fan about clothing around my neck.

Great shirt for winter running in the MidwestI really love Icebreaker base layers for winter running in the Midwest because they are so versatile in a variety of conditions and function great as layering pieces. So far we haven't seen any extreme cold but I wore this alone on a damp 27 degree morning run and it felt great. Light enough to not be hot but thick enough that a little wind didnt cut through it. I expect this to be in my regular rotation all winter long.

Great for Drysuit DivingThis works very well for using as a base layer in a SCUBA Drysuit. The sleeve holes make it easy to keep on under a mid layer, and the Morino works really well to keep you warm enough even in case of a small leak. Also doesn't add a ginat amount of loft either so reweighting to adjust your buoyancy isn't needed if switching from other 'lightweight' base layers. Nice for pulling the sweat away while out of the water too.

Buying againI moved south and gave my Icebreakers to my sons. I moved back north 3 years later. They refused to return me my cold weather underwear. I understood completely.

He loves it[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gift for a man who is 5'9" and a lean, fit trail runner. When you're his size, most US tops aren't form fitting enough. He runs year-round, in the Colorado mountains, where the temps quickly fluctuate and an efficient, moisture-wicking top is mandatory. This top looks excellent on him--very flattering. He's worn it on several runs and hasn't washed it yet (that's another story for another time). Wool's properties are such that the top doesn't reek, unlike his Patagonia running tops. Huge fan.

Quality Product/Design (A+)I am a huge fan of the Icebreaker BodyZone baselayers. This product excels at keeping my body temperature regulated when I participate in physical activity (cycling). The 260g is a nice step up from the 200g in warmth while still staying lightweight/breathable. A truly world-class design!

Great shirtI have been buying icebreaker clothes for almost 10 years. Pretty much the best shirts money can buy. Soft but durable
and warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I live in TX and I can wear them about 5 months out of the year. When it gets above 85 I do switch to other shirts.
