Rated 1 out of 5 by from It wasn’t broken - then why “fix” them!? Major disappointment to say the least. After a dozen + of these in my drawer - never had more comfortable pair of underwear in my life. It’s been awhile and mine are starting to fall apart - so I ordered 3 more pair. When I received them I was so happy until after a couple hours of wearing them. First the rise/height is lower - and over all slightly tighter - which I can deal with. The leg elastic is so weak that after only a couple hours they where loose around my thighs and made me uncomfortable and aware of the fact for the rest of the day. Such a huge disappointment. Back to the search for the ultimate underwear - as these no longer are - sadly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You don't need many pairs I've traveled with Icebreaker t-shirts and boxer briefs to South and Central America, Europe, India and Mexico. I decided to try the briefs this time as apposed to the boxer briefs. I love them both. The t-shirts as well. I hoard them just for my long term travel and they are going on 4 years old. You can't beat them. I have been weeding out my other cotton underware and replacing with Icebreaker as I go. It is well worth the long term investment. They wash and dry very fast so you only need a few pairs. I take three for good measure. They appear pricey up front but in the long run are less expensive than others because they last so long.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Something Changed from Original Anatomica Briefs I have been buying the Anatomica Briefs for quite a while now. It is all I wear. Something changed in this new version. Either the seams that go around the crotch are different but the support that they used to have is just not there. They are ok for about half a day, but after that they start getting sort of loose in the crotch area and no longer hold everything in like the original models. Please bring back the original model!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big disappointment I normally wear a medium in a brief but on reading the reviews I sounded like these run on the small side so I ordered them in a large. I put these on and even the large felt very snug. And then I discovered the real problem. I have never considered myself overly endowed but I realized that the pouch on these was also undersized. And now that I have tried them on, they can't be returned. Big disappointment and I was looking forward to using these on a bike trip because they could be laundered easily overnight.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Briefs - Nylon Content Increased I have been a long term customer of Icebreaker over 5 years - they used to be best in the market. Recently however they have increased the nylon content on their briefs - THIS HAS DIMINISHED THE PRODUCTS COMFORT and core breathabilty. They now feel scratchy - this is not a good thing for a pair of undies... Sorry you may have lost a customer here.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Quality, Lacks Support I’ve been wearing these for a few weeks now. Being a big wool fan, I was exited to try a good quality underwear. While I think the fabric is quite decent and of a good weight, there’s very little elastic support around the legs and crotch. Out of the box, they have a nice snug fit and everything stays in place, which is what I look for in briefs. However, after just one or two wears, I can feel the loose fabric hitting my legs, and pretty much no support in the crotch. I ordered an additional pair just to see if I had gotten a defect, but alas.... No complaints about the waistband which will probably outlast me, but need to have Similar support throughout.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They changed. Had been using them for a while. They never lasted long. Some were getting holes in as little as 20 uses, but they had cool, fun colors, and fit and felt good. Now the colors are bland, fit is not great anymore, the fabric feels flimsier. I am not getting any more of these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best briefs I have been wearing wool briefs for years now. Tried different brands. Wool is great IMO as it is breathable and has cooling and warmth properties depending on temp. These are by far the best wool briefs I have found. Lightweight yet durable. I had some issues with the previous version that they did seem to tear near the seams after about a year, but the newer ones seems like a better fabric. We'll see. Regardless, they are so good, comfortable and value, that these will be my only underwear until something better comes along.
