Rated 5 out of 5 by from Live-in comfort, technical performance Although I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and would typically purchase a piece like this as a base layer for chilly morning hikes, rainy season runs, or just an extra layer of comfort around the house, I actually came across this shirt while searching for a technical long sleeve shirt that would work well for hot/humid tropical climates. I was mostly finding SPF synthetic shirts, and when I saw someone post about a merino shirt they'd used in the Australian outback, at first I didn't believe it. I always associate merino with cold environments. But my research and others' reviews made me take a chance, and I'm sooooo glad I did! I wore this shirt at a yoga retreat in Kona, Hawaii for a week, and it performed amazingly. I gave it its first test on a 4-mile hike across a lava field, completely exposed to the sun the entire time. I was amazed at how well it breathed, as well as how quickly it dried - in addition to the fact that even after a week of sweat and sun, it didn't take on any odor. I love the shirt, am enjoying it on chilly mornings in the bay, but also happy to have an amazing piece that will work even in the tropics!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good while they lasted I believe I have seven of the 150 wt. All but one has torn. Apparently they are to thin to last even though I've had another layer over them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I never want to take it off I put it on and just simply forget it's there. There has never been a more comfortable crew base layer ever made. Personally, I wear this for air travel as temperature and humidity conditions fluctuate, and merino is great to have on whether it's slightly too cold or slightly too hot. Now I just have to set calendar reminders to wash it once in a while because it never smells!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Have I purchased this to wear when I commute to work on my motorcycle, which I do most every day. It is extremely warm and really helps on those cold mornings on the I-5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Survives Anything Beat it up in the gym, on the jiu jitsu mat, paddle boarding on the water, volleyball in the sand. Keeps me comfortable and never stinks. Best. Ever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic like every other Icebreaker I own I own an anatomica short sleeve and a body zone long sleeve but was looking for a lighter weight long sleeve. Like every other Icebreaker I've purchased, it was a little itchy the first time I wore it. Wash it once and it's as comfortable as can be. Fantastic shirt that fits comfortably and snug for easy layering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits as described, best undershirt It’s too expensive to use as an every day undershirt, but when traveling for work, it’s perfect. I only need to bring one, it won’t stink, I can wear it all day, and it keeps its shape. I can even rinse and hang dry overnight if needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wooltastic Typical fabulous Icebreaker quality, and lengthy enough to accommodate my lanky husband. Soft, not itchy. Survived adventures in Alaska -- great base layer! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
