Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its not what I thought, but hold on... I ordered this as a "warm" jacket. It's got a nylon like front with the insulation, and the sides and backs are a mesh fabric that breathes. I think Icebreaker should push more that this is a "runners jacket" or "cycling jacket" as it's designed to block the wind and still breathe out the sides and back. I wouldn't use this jacket to watch Johnny and Jill play soccer, but it looks like a great exercise piece. I've got their camo version that has mesh side panels and it's the jacket I used all winter. It's "just enough" as long as you're moving. I'd also like to see the photographer shoot light colors for the website coats. It's almost impossible to tell what the back of a black jacket looks like. Your mileage may vary...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mid and outer active layer I am at altitude (above 10k' FT) about 3-4 times a week and this peice has been a great addition to my kit. Love how quick to dry it is and the warmth I feel instantaly when I put it on as a chill develops at higher elevations is better than putting on a nylon puffer. Durability as I'm scarambiling on my runs or full on climbing has been impeccable. I'm 5'10 170lbs very athletic build and the medium fits great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Goto garmet This top is well made and a goto piece for cold weather exercise. It can be worn as an outer layer for cold weather running or xc skiing / skinning or is equally good as mid layer. Great overall product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Motorcycle Gear I purchased this jacket to wear under my Roadcrafter suit when commuting to work. The front has more protection against the wind, which is ideal for riding the bike. Good quality and warm. I like the high collar which goes up to the helmet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from too long This jacket fit me but the torso was so long that it came down below my butt. This is the strangest fit I have ever come across. There is no advantage to having the torso come down so low because it restricts walking, and when you pull it up to look normal it's all bunched up and looks very strange. The funny thing is that I actually have a very long torso, so you would think I'd like this, but it is so long that it is just totally awkward and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for cold weather running I bought this recently for cold weather running and have been using it exclusively for the past week. It has a perfect weight and snug comfortable fit. The body resists the wind well and keeps my core warm. Pockets are plentiful and the full zip to the chin is very nice and can be adjusted easily depending on the temperature. I'm very happy with it so far and would recommend highly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fit, comfy, great value Super comfy, the zipper is not as easy fitting as the hooded quarter zip but great to have full zip either way. I am medium built 5’ 6” and 150 pounds and both the medium and small fit well on me (just depend if you want tight or loose fit). I love this, all seasons breathability and warmth as under or over layer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket for Cycling I have the all black version of this jacket. I bought it primarily to use as a winter jacket in Northern California. It gets down to about freezing at night, and my evening commute home is often around 50º F. This jacket, along with a 200 weight long sleeve base layer is perfect at 50º F for me (I'm skinny and get cold easily). If it's in the 30's or 40's, I might add a second base layer. It breathes on the arms and back, but the front is windproof, which is perfect for cycling. It also looks super sharp.
