Merino WoolI just discovered how merino wool works with the bodies temperature. I have over the years purchased merino wool from Ice Breaker intending the garments for winter, but since I have discovered layering and how well you can wear in the warm climates as well. It is merino wool are my tops and leggings. They last longer do not fade and easy to care for. It really works in taking your mind off your clothing wearing out quickly and not being comfortable. I find Icebreaker to be a better manufacturer than some others out there that I have purchased, attempting to save monies and ended up right back to Icebreaker. With Icebreaker I can appreciate the quality of their merino wool garments.

Five stars!I have thermal layers from different brands, but by far the ones I use the most for skiing are my icebreaker ones. I purchased the BodyFitZone top and bottom, and I am very pleased. no surprise! The merino wool is very breathable, odor resistant and keeps its shape after wash. The fit is true to size, and I particularly enjoy the generous length of this top at the torso and sleeves. The design and contrasting colors make this piece very flattering as well when I am lounging around the house after a long day skiing. Great quality, and a good the investment!

Great shirt, but not what I was looking forThis shirt was a great fit, high quality, and beautiful color (I got the blue), but unfortunately wasn’t what I was looking for. I didn’t realize that the mesh was over the entire back, sides, and back of the arms. I’m on the hunt for a warm top to wear camping in January, and while this would be excellent for outdoor cold weather exercise, I need the full merino coverage for warmth. I got the 260 tech thermal top instead and love it! I adore Icebreaker products- I have a 200 long sleeve thermal top that I wore for 5 days in the muggy Philippines (thanks to lost luggage) and it never started to stink! Incredible.
For size reference, I’m a 37” bust and 27” waist, and the medium fit perfectly.

The only con is that there aren’t more colorsAlright here’s the deal. I feel like everyone has their go to performance outfit. This is the foundation of mine. It’s also yours- you just don’t know it yet.
The weight of this fabric alone makes it feel luxurious even though it’s not too thick. The technical attention to ventilation, cut, and shape were all taken into consideration when this baby was created. The raglan sleeves and glorious thumbholes and the LENGTH. My god can we talk about the length and the silhouette of the bottom hemline? It’s just enough to cover the mid line of the booty so you can layer it over leggings but tuck it under weatherproofing layers. It’s also opaque (in regards to sportsbra transparency) so there are no worries about immodesty either.
The only thing keeping me from replacing literally every single one of my long sleeve performance tees out with this is the lack of colors.
Icebreaker: if you stop making this shirt I will drive a herd of sheep in front of your storefronts.

Why am I just buying this now?I saw that this was a best seller, and although I wasn't fully convinced how I'd feel about it when I purchased it I can say I'm convinced now. I'm disappointed that I'm only just purchasing it now. GREAT performance shirt. Fits snug like baselayers should. I typically take a M and took a M in this (for reference I'm 5'11 and 145 lbs), and it's snug but not tight. Someone mentioned the panels are not wool, but they are (double check fabric details). I would like to get this in different weights. Perfect performance shirt.
I'm 5'11, and while this shirt is longer than any other I have from Icebreaker, I find it to be adequately long in the torso, but not excessive. Same with the sleeves. Seem slightly longer than normal, esp with the thumbholes, but I have really long arms, so these will not cover my hands, although I can use the thumbholes if I pull at the shirt.

My New Magic ShirtI received this as a birthday present and I absolutely love it. I wore it to teach yoga and followed that up the next day with a run in 30 degree temps. I wore the Magic Shirt with a vest and couldn't have more comfortable. Plus, it didn't stink and I followed up with another wear the next day. These sheep are truly magic!

Amazing quality; wish there were more colorsLoved this for my first time skiing in Tahoe. I can be quite sensitive to wool but this and the matching pants were super comfortable and I loved all the vents stitched in. I like that the shirt is long enough to ensure no snow gets in my pants but wish it wasn’t so long that it bunches up when tucked in. Also wish there were more fun colors and designs. Sizing was perfect - got a M (I’m 135 lbs, 5’6, D cup). Overall fantastic purchase so far!

Backpacking Game Changer[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time with Merino base layers and I now I get it. Hiked miles on the CT. They're coming with me forever. Wore at night when it was cold, wore hiking in the day and kept the sun off.
