Uncomfortable for longer wearI tried this on and was initially satisfied but after wearing it during my longer workouts, I became really dissatisfied with the comfort of the straps. They pull in toward my neck and add pressure there, making this unusable for me. The straps also don't lay completely flat; they bunch up slightly on top of the shoulder on me. Finally, the removable cup insert is a pretty unnatural shape for me, but that didn't bother me too much. Unfortunately, after you wear this bra and actually try it during your activity, you can no longer return it. I really wish I could exchange for something I will actually wear.

Very comfy, not a ton of supportI will definitely wear it around the house or on a simple walk. For a D or DD chest, it isn’t great for a workout. I have researched and looked so hard for a merino wool bra for D and DD chest and there’s nothing out there with good support. Icebreaker, this is your chance to own that bit of the market! Please make a high support bra for large chests. There are many of us who need that.

Snug fit that protects. Great support.I’ve tried a few different Sport bras from here and this one is the right choice. You must size up though. My normal size is medium on Icebreaker clothing and I got an extra large for this bra. Sports bras usually just squish things down but I’m not sure how this one is different but it doesn’t do that. It looks great under all types of shirts. I’d love to purchase another one if they had more colors. The price is a bit steep though. I bought this one on sale. I wouldn’t pay full price for one.

Very goodfull disclosure: I hate bras. Since having kids (and realizing I could breastfeed better in a tanktop than a bra) I've pretty much abandoned normal bras for slim-fitting undershirts. But they don't work great for running or sports. I got this hoping for a comfortable but supportive light sports bra. It definitely is that. Still is tight around the chest, but hard to imagine a normal bra that isn't. Would consider it light support (ie better than an undershirt!). I do wish there was a higher wool content, but it works well.

My favorite running and sports bra!I forget I am wearing a bra during my runs. This is so soft and a perfect fit, with good coverage. It keeps me cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It is perfectly supportive, without totally smashing me, or digging into my torso. It rides smooth against my skin. The only negative I can think of is that it does have light foam cups that are removable, so when washing they tend to fold or come out of the pocket they are in. But I just get them positioned again. Again - I love this sports bra!

Excellent Low Impact Sports Bra[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bra is an excellent bra for low impact sports. The quality of the fabric and the sewing is very good. The option cups keep me from getting uni-boob and add a little support. I am middle-aged and a 32 DD, so I will be using it for yoga. My only negative was that I was hoping it would be supportive enough for me to wear hiking.
It might work fine for medium impact sports for younger and smaller breasted women.

Not supportive enoughOn a hunt to replace an aging Smartwool sports bra that I adore, I took a chance on this (and paid $70.) Unfortunately this bra isn’t supportive enough for me. I felt the dreaded bounce on its first day out jogging with my younger sister, who encouraged me to seek out a more supportive bra ASAP lest my breasts “sag down to my ankles” (I’m a small c-cup for context.) Of course different bodies require different support, but something I love about my other wool bra is that it does what wool does best: flexing to accommodate while holding tightly, and staving off smells. This bra doesn’t nail it. It’s also cut short and needs to be pulled down mid-activity so it doesn’t ride up over my breasts. After 2 washings, most of the bright red color faded (I followed washing instructions; no dryer) and it now looks—and feels—as if I’ve had it for a decade. I’m not a Smartwool plant; I’m just in it for the wool. I’ve loved other Icebreaker products. I just wish this one fit the bill!

A little see-throughA different Icebreaker sports bra (the Cool-Light Meld Zone) has been my favorite for years, so I thought I'd try this one. As with the Cool-Light, I am a size small even though I'm a medium in all other Icebreaker products. (I am 155 lbs, 5'7", and a 32DD.) So far the Anatomica is great, much stretchier than the Cool-Light,and very comfortable, but I have to rate it three stars because it's a bit see-through. When you're wearing it, you can see the two cheap foam pads through the fabric of the bra--and if you take out the foam pads, well, you can slightly see your nipples. So if you're planning to wear this bra as a top (which, FYI Icebreaker, a lot of women do with sports bras) it's a little revealing. For the most part I'll enjoy this bra, but I was a little disappointed that I won't be able to wear it as a workout top.
