Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from These are great ear buds These are great ear buds but I hate the case . What a let down ! You notice the issues immediately. First you are not able to hold on to the hard smooth case no rubberized coating on the new design. These are constantly getting dropped on the floor and the buds fly out and you will need to try and find them. Then the case is unable to open due to there not having a notch on it so you can find the right orientation to open on or even help to open. Now I still think that the buds are much improved and they sound great for all the activities that I use them for . I have had 3 other Jaybirds 2 Vista and a Tarah, All have great sound. Thanks, Ted

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great sound, Bluetooth connectivity is poor Outstanding fit sound. Wind noise was a huge problem on the bike, but firmware updates have really helped. I'm disappointed with the range. Not so much of an issue while running, but on the bike I need to have my phone in a belt pack on the front of my body, because it won't connect well to my phone in a rear jersey pocket. I will even get skips if I turn my head quickly. Resetting the buds per the Support FAQ has helped, but having this tenuous of a Bluetooth connection is laughable for something in this price point. I've had much less expensive buds from other companies that can give me a range of 40 feet or more, so this is really disappointing.

The only advantage of the Vista 2 is the ability to back up and listen to a song again with the double tap. If it weren't for that feature alone or if the original version had that, I would not use my Vista 2 at all. The only charge 5 of 10 times. There have been so many occasions where I've gone to use them and they have been at 50, 30, or 20% charge. Secondly, the case is like a bar of soap. The shape is wrong and the texture is too smooth. Not sure how version 2 has been such a step in reverse. I'll give them three stars rather than 2 only because they sound as good as version 1.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MEADES,SARAH from Disappointing compared to the Tarah Pro I previously owned the Jaybird Tarah Pro but unfortunately had to buy new headphones (due to my own poor treatment of my old headphones). With my new headphones, the Vista 2, it's so annoying when one headphone's Bluetooth cuts out. In general the overall Bluetooth connectivity isn't as good. The battery doesn't last as long as the Tarah Pro either which also sucks. The surround sense is such a great addition and I love this feature. That's the only benefit from these earbuds, everything else falls short. I would rather have bought the old Tarah Pro if they were still available, and would trade my Vista 2's for them in a heartbeat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Connection issues Ive had jaybirds since the first JaybirdsX and I gotta say they came a long way. So when I ordered the Vista's 2 i really wanted to like them. I mean they sound pretty good, the app is still awesome the ANC is alright could be better but the thing that I have a problem with is the connectivity. For some reason there will be times when one of the earbuds will shut off then I would have to turn it back on manually. This is extremely annoying especially at work or when I'm at the gym. I check every day for a firmware update but they haven't put one out yet. Please fix the issue, I feel like that's the only reason it's kinda killing it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rich from Great buds, more complicated than the last version though. DELETE THE APP after setup to avoid android issues These are GREAT buds. The sound is awesome, and the ability to allow ambient sound through when appropriate is awesome. I did have to turn off the feature that paused my music when taking out a bud because I kept stopping my music and then was unable to start it again. I also had to delete the app once I finished adjusting the settings because of an incompatibility on android that they know about and are working on. Once you get rid of the app, the buds work as advertised. A lot of the negative reviews seem to be from people who didn't look into how easy it is to change settings. As always, with my 3 pairs of Jaybirds, their customer service is AMAZING.

Absolutely brilliant audio quality, amazing noise cancelling, and despite multiple other reviews out there the microphone isn’t too bad at all (it is sensitive to being brushed by hair or wind though) The case feels solid and secure, the earbuds are comfortable and have multiple size replacements to suit almost anyone (although I would like to see variations in rigidity as well as size), the community EQs on the app are very useful too. In walking there doesn’t seem to be any distortion from movement although I haven’t tested with more vigorous exercise. For day to day use, it’s difficult to see how they could be any better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from My second pair of these My second pair of these are very good. the sound quality is good as is the wid cancelling. the noise cancelling isn't great at blocking out office noise but great for riding. The first pair I received just didn't work. they wouldn't pair, would charge, just nothing. after a few emails they were quickly replaced and all is very good with the new pair. They fit very well and are secure for mountain biking. they have got wet and dirty but still work fine. For around the house, I will stick with my Beats Pros which other than looking stupid are better in most ways for indoor use. can't see how people go outside in those though.
