good for hiking and paddling.I'm not going to lie, I'm in my 20's and I bought the kids version because i have small feet and while I do fit into womens, why waste 40 bucks? especially when no paddling shoes are cute. ,,,,I bought these for kayaking, but they're also great for hiking. and going through rocky streams. they have grippy tread, and handle mud and stuff really well. little pebbles and dirt get stuck in the toes, that's my only real annoyance with them. ,,,,I like that they float, and that I can just hose them off at the end of the day. They may give you blisters the first time or two, but you can fix that by looking nerdy and wearing socks. or putting on bandaids beforehand.

Not an all-around ShoeMost parents chose shoes for their kids based on "cuteness". These are up their on the cute-scale, especially when they match the parent's keens!,,,,But, more importantly, children need appropriate support (arch, heel, ankle) in order for proper spine development, posture, etc. These shoes are not very supportive. It's easy for a young child to twist his ankles in these shoes. Also, if this is your child's primary shoe, he/she will develop wider, flatter feet. Lastly, the big rubber toe-box is easy to trip on, especially for younger children. ,,,,This shoe is good only in limited use, specifically for camping or at the beach or river.

Sturdy, comfortable, and cute![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughters wanted matching water sandals, so we bought two pairs of these. We've worn them orienteering, running around, biking, into water, and all over various playgrounds (and we've had them less than a month). So far, so awesome. The shoes are comfortable, fit well, dry quickly, and look like they will easily last the summer (we've never worn such shoes longer because the girls' feet are always a new size by the time the weather warms up--but we've given similar Keen shoes away with some good use still left in them before, and I believe these will be the same). Recommend!

Great for all little feet everywhere they go.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the only summer sandals I’ll buy for my little guys. One kiddo has wide feet, one has narrow, the Newport H2 adjust to fit both with the adjustable bungee. My eldest (4yo) wears them to school, they both wear them for walks in the country and the city, and wading through lakes and streams. They hold up better than any other shoe we’ve tried and have great resale value, if you’re into consignment sales!

These are the bomb diggityLike one of the other reviewers, I am also in my 20s and have small feet (I am usually a 6.5-7 and the 5 is perfect). The kids H2 are half the price of the adult ones, and I'm broke so.... ,,I have two pairs of these now, but the first pair I wore and wore and wore. I wore the tread smooth, but I still keep them because they are STILL super comfortable. I have retired them from hiking just because they are too slick on the bottoms, but they still have a lot of life for around town, etc.,,This is the only pair of shoes ever that I have been able to wear soaking wet and still be able to hike 10 miles without a single blister. I highly recommend them for anyone age 2 to 200 who wants a comfortable slipper-like shoe with amazing breathability and traction.

I love them - I was Moosejaw carried more shoes!!!!I have been looking for a sandal for my little town girl you get it - she is a townboy but a girl. Anyways, my little girl is very active and a flip flop doesn't stay on a you can still stub your toe, sneakers are too warm and crocs well they look cute - however I still feel they don't keep up with her. So I was at a loss??? Untill my friend from Chi Town showed up with her little girl in these cute but sporty sandals. We love them - I feel that her little piggys are protected but yet still cool. Plus she can put them on herself. My only disappointment was that Moosejaw did not have the color I wanted in her size didn't carry pink that small. However, everyone in the GPP store is so fr

Love these[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy these every spring for our three children. They are their go-to shoes. Frankly, if you bought one pair of shoes for your child for the summer, these would be it. They are comfortable, waterproof, and do not show wear. The kids can hike, head to the playground, ride bikes, or splash in a creek in these, no problem. The toe bumper is a key feature. They only come in whole sizes, but because of the design and the velcro strip, they do not chafe or fall off the heel even if there is room in the toe. If my child is wearing a half size, I buy the next size up, and that way the size lasts through the summer (and usually into the fall). Even our youngest can put them on herself. Our kids will often pair these with their church clothes as well.

Quality productMy daughter loves her flip flops so when she puts these on to go cycling I know that she likes these shoes. She gets a lot of compliments about the color and being somewhat vain, it spurs her on to wear them even more. Her older sister is now asking when she can get a pair.,,,,Keens hold up well and this shoe is no different. Whether using them as a water shoe, wading through muddy banks or simply running on pavement, these shoes work for all situations!

What age is size 12 for? I am so very confused on the sizing. I have a 18 month old who has a 5.5 inch length foot. Can you tell me the correct size for her?
Asked by: jackie12
So sorry for the confusion! The sizes 4, 5 and 6 are toddler and the sizes 10, 11 and 12 are for little kids. Based on size chart, you would need a toddler size 7. However, our warehouse team measured the length of the size 6 and it is just over 5.5 inches. I would try the size 6 and If it doesn't work out, just let us know and will get you a prepaid return label. I hope this helps!
