Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute & comfy but with frustrating left sole Cute shoes and as all Keen foot ware I own these are comfortable on the feet right out of the box! My lower rating is due to one of the soles (made from recycled leather, which is fantastic) has the grain facing the heel. This causes my socks to catch on that grain and I cannot get my foot into the shoe without a couple of wrinkles in my socks which you can imagine is quite uncomfortable! Weird because the other shoe the grain points to the toe so no problems getting that shoe on sans sock wrinkles. I am hopeful the sole will break in and become smoother with time/wear making it easier to get the other shoe on without those pesky sock wrinkles!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sizing and shape issues, but still the best Runs 1/2 size smaller than my beloved pairs of Elsa III's. I had been waiting around for the Elsas to come back in a grey again, but there's some problems. The toe is slightly more squared off, making it look bulkier and paddle-like, not as able to camouflage as a converse-esque shoe. The textured rubber doesn't add anything, just continues to make the shoe less classic looking. I do appreciate the reduction in glue. I like the wool. Still exchanging for the small size, because I can't find anything else on the market that does it better (a wide, converse-type shoe). Just wish it was a bit better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW!! I absolutely LOVE these sneakers! Not only the cute zigzag pattern but the feel and overall look too. They're comfortable with and without socks, with flares, straight leg/leggings, or shorts. The padding and texture of the inside is wonderful- I just ordered a second pair (tie dye). I've gotten a bunch of compliments on them too!! The colors/print on the toes don't match and I thought it would drive be crazy, but I really don't mind at all. My previous Keen experience was just with the whisper, these are my first enclosed shoes from keen and I LOVE them. I'm 6' with size 11 and no width issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Shoe! Love these shoes! As other reviews note, there is no arch support in the shoes. I did put an orthotic in for arch support, but since I'm wearing the shoes casually rather than for major hiking/walking, the lack of arch support isn't really an issue. I can wear the shoes with their original insole, or with an arch support insole. The shoes are light, fun and comfy. It's winter wear I live so haven't had a chance to get the shoes outside. I have been wearing them in the house all day every day since I got them. Very comfy. I have an average womens' size 7 foot so the shoes fit my feet fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as expected I bought a pair of these last year and were so comfy that I decided to get another in a different color. I was surprised to see that the new pair was not near as comfy. So I removed the insole insert from my old pair and replaced it in the new pair. Now it is comfy again. Problem is, I now have to switch them back and forth between my two pairs of shoes. I sure wished they hadn’t cheapened up the new insole which is twice as thin and hardly any padding at all. Just sad how companies cut corners. I won’t be duped again. This is my last pair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plant based sole is terrible I have multiple Keen Elsa shoes with the old style sole and they are comfortable and durable. Just purchased navy Elsa sneakers with the new sole for my daughter in August before going to college. The sole has cracked right at the balls of her feet on both shoes. When walking in wet weather, the moisture goes right through the sole of the shoe to her foot. I am very disappointed with the quality. At this price point the expectation is that the shoes will last. These keens lasted her only for two months walking on a college campus.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Attractive But Not the Usual Keen Fit Keen is my favorite shoe for, walking, hiking and just hanging our. I currently have 5 other pair between water/hiking sandals, dressier sandals and closed leather shoes. I was pretty disappointed with the fit on these. The toe box is more narrow than my other shoes and the heel felt wider. I tried the usual loosening the laces for the toes and tightening for the heels. This was to no avail. I had to return them. I had to rate the size and width because the survey required it, but both widths were off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Comfy and Cute! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these shoes about a month ago to wear on jeans days at school. They are so comfortable, I can run around my classroom all day and still feel ready to take a walk at the end of the day. The arch hits just right, and the foot bed is the perfect mix of soft and supportive. The material on the outside is a lot like a red, fuzzy tennis ball. These shoes get a lot of attention and positive comments, so I almost feel like one of the cool kids.
