Great waterproof shoesI had been looking for lightweight waterproof hikers for a while and am glad to find these. They are great to wear to work and I can't with to try them on the trail. I ordered a half size up because of the need for more space in my shoes in both length and width due to foot issues. Someone without foot problems may find that their regular shoe size is fine. As far as the classic wide toe box I think these are definitely a little wider than some other similar Keen styles I've tried in the past (can't recall the names) however maybe not as wide as some of their other hiking boot styles. All in all I like them and will keep them and would recommend them.

Great Trekking ShoesI bought these to replace my ten-year-old pair of Keens, in prep for a hiking vacation in the Utah National Parks last month. We hit all 5 Utah Nat'l Parks and logged about 30 miles of hiking. They worked great for not only trails, but also scrambling up/down limestone "trails" (sheer rock surface) in Canyonlands and Arches, and were super comfortable for the longer, all terrain hikes in Bryce and Zion. Good support, and roomy toe box. I have a history of plantar fasciitis and a knee reconstruction, and neither bothered me on the trails. Trying to convince my husband to get the men's version.

Not the KEEN wide toeboxThese are described as Medium width, so I should not have been so disappointed. I hoped these would have the original wide toebox I’ve found in other KEEN “medium” shoes, but these are definitely not wide and have little give. They are lightweight, sturdy hikers with a great tread, and being waterproof is a huge bonus, but my wide forefoot felt squeezed and I had to send these back. This is not the first time I’ve regretted not having a Medium width foot. If you do, these would be great, thus my “yes, I would recommend”. My search for a hiking shoe with these qualities in WIDE continues.

Disappointing Quality. Superb Fit.I purchased the NXIS shoe in late March 2022. I have multiple other styles of hiking and casual shoes and boots from Keen and all have been long wearing. These still look near new on top, but the sole has worn across the balls of my feet in 5 months. And I don't even wear them every day as I also have a second pair of these (purchased in july before i noticed the wear) AND a pair of the non waterproof version too which I have been wearing more due to the heat.
So disappointed because the fit and comfort of these is fantastic - best shoe I've ever had in that regard.
FWIW I walk roughly 10,000 steps a day on pavement and off road trails. These get worn probably 4 days a week in among other shoes and hiking boots.

Roomy, light, and so comfyI have been waiting for KEEN to make a light hiker with a running shoe feel AND a roomy toe box! This is it! Instant comfort as soon as I tried it on. Regular hiking boots and shoes feel too bulky for the type of hiking I usually do, and I often just wear my running shoes even though I know I should reserve them for just running. Now I feel like I have the best of both worlds, and I love the cushioned support. Surprise benefit: I wear a size 9, and sometimes my feet can look big. This design actually makes them look smaller. Suh-weet! Next stop: hiking in Joshua Tree.

Good shoe!I've worn Keens for about 7 years. As a dog walker, I needed something that was supportive, roomy in the toe area (I have bunions), and waterproof. These fit the bill! Just bought these recently and I have noticed some differences since the last ones I bought about 4 years ago. These are more narrow than before, and the tongue is definitely longer (which is a bit annoying, but doesn't bother my foot so far). All around comfortable though! I did also notice the length was a little bit shorter, so if you are a 7.5 normally, you may want to go up a size for toe space.

ComfortableI originally bought a size 8, but found the toe box to be too cramped, so I returned it for a size 9. I bought these to use for work. Despite the mixed reviews, I find these shoes very comfortable. I work in a hospital and am on my feet all day. My first day wearing them, I worked a 14-hour shift with no pain, and no pain the next day. Before keen, I wore shoes that had orthotics in them due to my foot ailments, and I would wake up every morning limping in pain. With Keen, I wake up pain free.

Light and BeautifulI love my Nxis Evo Waterproof because they are light, strong and just beautiful. I had first pair in Plaza Taupe/Ibis Rose, which I gave to by daughter to wear.
I could not fall in love with any other so bought same style in Fawn/Peach Whip color.
These are comfy once you break into it, in the beginning it takes time to settle into this like all other shoes. I would go one size up if you got foot problem or if one plans to wear fall/winter socks in it.
