Rated 4 out of 5 by C.S. from Runs Narrow, but Works for Me I recently signed up to volunteer at a farm sanctuary and I was in need of a pair of waterproof boots. I wanted to be respectful to the animals I was caring for, so the boot also had to be leather free. In my search, I decided to give this boot a try. From mucking out barns, pushing a wheel barrel up and down a ramp and traveling by foot all over the sanctuary, this boot fulfilled it's duties. I've also used them several times to go hiking. I'm giving it four stars only because the fit is narrower in the toe box compared to other Keen footwear. The size 7 felt true to size, but if you plan on wearing thick socks, you might want to order up a 1/2 size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marybeth K. from Perfect all-around boot I purchased these a few months ago. I purchased a half size up from what I usually wear. My last boots (leather Keen Targhees the same size as these) seem to get too short after an hour or so and hurt my feet. These boots do not “shrink” and stay comfortable all day. They have kept my feet dry and warm but seem breathable. The insole and ankle are supportive and fit my foot perfectly. I have medium-wide, fairly flat feet and Keens fit me well. These boots are more comfortable to wear than any of my sneakers. I have so far not had any issues with these coming apart, but I am only using them for yard work and light hikes in the foothills. So far I am extremely happy with them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Would not buy again. I was really hopeful for these boots as many raved about them and Keen was the most recommended hiking shoe among friends. However, after some time breaking in the shoes they were still very uncomfortable and caused blisters and I made the mistake of taking them on the Appalachian trail. They absolutely TORE my flesh off. I walked the rest of the time in sandals, which were much more comfortable and didn't leave me with gaping holes in my skin. I know these work for some people, and they did fit and they could be great for others, but it's a hard no for me. Not sure what to do with them now.

I'd rather have an even more aggressive sole perhaps - but time will tell if the lugs are sufficient. My biggest issue (which I knew about when I bought them) is that I suspect they might be a touch narrow. I absolutely love how comfy my Keens are (I have lots of pairs of boots & sandals) - but I couldn't find a wide lightweight summer boot, so I had to get these. I'd rather have a bit more room in the toe box. Just bear this in mind if you have wide feet & love the wiggle room of the wider styles

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sophie R. from Comfortable lightweight hiker I am a big fan of Keen footwear so was keen to try these. I am a size 41, UK 8 and found the sizing to be good with plenty of toe wiggle room. The boots are light and I like the concertina type bit in the toe which makes them feel more responsive. The lacing is secure and although I would prefer more colour options that the usual lilac, the style is fresher than a lot of boots. They are comfortable on long walks with good grip. Am yet to test the waterproofing but have found my other keen boots good on this front.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sb from SO uncomfortable I have never had a more uncomfortable boot on my foot in my life. And I've worn a lot of boots. There is no give anywhere. None. And if you have even the tiniest bit of pronation do NOT buy this boot. I have a little pronation in one foot/ankle and within 10 minutes of walking I felt like I was developing a bruise on the outside of my ankle on the bone. It's a shame I can't return them at this point. It's been too long and I'm just now trying them out. My mistake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by David R. from Awesome pair of boots!!!! I have the Ridge Flex Waterproof Boot and the Targhee III waterproof boot. Both pairs are super comfortable and durable, but I don't recomend these boots for warm weather. However, the Tempo Flex Waterproof boot are you to go pair of boots for warm and cool weather because they are light, breathable and you don't sweat your feet as much as the other pair of boots. Also, if your are looking for a VERY COMFORTABLE boot, this is the one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Am from Too narrow, too small. Just got these in the mail today and have to send them back. So disappointed in how narrow this shoe is. I usually wear a 10 with enough room but this shoe needs to be ordered a size up. Shoe is much too narrow and causes pressure on the sides of my foot. Very cute but not for anyone with a slightly wide foot... Only for tiny narrow feet. Disappointed this company does not sell wide shoes.
