Best hiking/daily shoeI bought these shoes to use on my climbing/hiking trips. I've worn them in Kentucky, New Hampshire, Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee and even right here in Michigan. Currently wearing them as I write this! I actually got two pairs of them, one for my hikers, and one for my daily wear because they're so stinkin comfy! I love that they give support in the ankle for hiking, but don't restrict movement! They weren't as waterproof as I would've liked, but they definitely do the job! I actually sized down half a size for my street shoe, and kept my regular size for my hikers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Don't spend the money!I bought these boots from a different store in October 2017 . They were great until December. By then the fabric had holes on both shoes by the toes and they are no longer water proof. never really were if it was raining. These small holes are now tears that i attempted to sew and that was ok for awhile but the fabric continues to wear thin and it's pointless to fix. The soles have done well but otherwise disapointing for the price and the amount of time it lasted. I've been putting off this review. They no longer sell them where i bought them which makes me think they know they're not made to last

Super comfortableThese boots are super lightweight and comfy, and should go many miles with the dogs. I did not notice until I put them on that the dip at the top of the heel means significantly reduced water barrier in that area, but the comfort is a good tradeoff. I would give them 4 1/2 stars if I could, as that's my only concern. They are not heavy duty boots, but that should be apparent from the description and the materials. I have wide feet with a high arch and Keens were my go to for a long time, but they seem to run narrower these days. These are a great fit for me. I'm happy to have them. Perfect for everything! These babies are everything! They have amazing support for a high arch, and can be worn for everyday use to hiking. I had an older version similar to this style and wore them everyday for 5 years. They are my go to shoes in the winter when it's slushy and I don't want to wear my snow boots all day. I also work in a wet lab, involving lots of fish tank maintenance, due to the fact that they are waterproof, I could spill water on my feet and not have to worry about having wet feet all day. However, it did take me a while to decide what color to get.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Excellent choice for your first hiking boot!I have never owned hiking shoes. I have always been the one to settle for tennis shoes on the trail, but I recently took the plunge and invested in this rad keen footwear. It took me one day to break them in and even then, I felt I could have hit the mountain from the get go. I took these bad boys to China and hiked some gnarly slippery, muddy, snowy, rocky trails. . My ankles were well supported, my feet kept warm and dry, and I felt really cute (I mean Chinese people asked me if I was a famous rock climber from America). Fashion and function! Love the features of this shoe!I bought these shoes at the beginning of my first college semester, because my campus is surrounded by great mountains and outdoor adventure possibilities! I love the bit of ankle support it provides, without becoming a clunky full boot. The waterproof feature is great - I can hike on dewy mornings, or not worry about any boggy areas that will make my feet soggy and create blisters for the rest of my hike. The cushion in it is fairly good, I haven't gone on any super long hikes, or used them excessively so I don't know how that will hold up, but so far - very satisfactory! Fits well, light but sturdy.I bought these for my wife leading up to a trip to Yosemite. She's not a fan of big, heavy boots, so we decided to give these a shot.
She's typically a size 7.5-8, and once in a blue moon a size 8.5 in some Nike models. We decided to go with a size 8.5, which seems to have been a good choice. It may be a tad on the larger size, but she says she wouldn't size down to an 8. With some wool socks they fit well with minimal heel slippage.
The lugs aren't terribly deep but seem grippy enough, with a good amount of stiffness for the sole. No comments yet on breathability, we'll see once the warmer weather sets in. If you're looking for a boot that fits like a more supportive trail runner, give these a shot - they seem to be a good compromise between the two, leaning towards the boot side of things. Didn’t even have to break them in!I wore these for a three day hiking trip to the Rockies without having to have “broken them in.” Very water and mud proof, socks stayed dry. Highly recommend. Really liked this color also, helped blend in with the dirt. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
