They found that black kids are 6x more likely to drown than white kids, due to decades of segregation and exclusion from public pools and beaches. Their program, Making Waves, was designed to ensure every child and caregiver in its sphere of influence learns how to swim. Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE my Keens! I have worn adult Keens (H2, Whisper, Targee) for years due to their great support and function, but recently discovered I can wear kids sizes. They are always comfortable right out of the box. I got a pair of kids Newport H2's in 2016 and they are still in great shape. I just had to buy the BeesWax pattern because they are so cute and will go with everything. I love to wear these shoes when traveling - perfect for airports for easy on/off and for luggage moving with the toe protection. I wore Keens and alternated with Chacos for Disney last year and my feet did not hurt at all. So easy to clean, and I get so many compliments on them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, comfortable, and cute! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughters wanted matching water sandals, so we bought two pairs of these. We've worn them orienteering, running around, biking, into water, and all over various playgrounds (and we've had them less than a month). So far, so awesome. The shoes are comfortable, fit well, dry quickly, and look like they will easily last the summer (we've never worn such shoes longer because the girls' feet are always a new size by the time the weather warms up--but we've given similar Keen shoes away with some good use still left in them before, and I believe these will be the same). Recommend!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the same quality I had bought a pair of these about 6-7 years ago. Perfect fit! Absolutely loved them. So comfortable and the cushioning was, and still is, super soft! I bought these as a replacement, since the inner lining is worn in the heel area. They look the same. But the inner cushion is cheap and hard. What made these sandals a complete joy, beyond function, was how utterly divine and soft the inner pad is!!! I have put miles upon miles on the current sandals and many rivers, lakes, streams and oceans have been played in. It is disappointing to now know the replacement sandals are no long the stellar product of its predecessor.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to get on I bought these for my 11-year-old son to go on a very long camping trip on the river. He’s only worn crocs all his life and was ready to try something new that was easier to walk on the rocks and in the water with. These are great looking shoes and they fit well from heel to toe and width wise as well but they’re very hard for him to get on and off, even making them as loose as possible. I felt really bad when he got sunburned on his feet and it was even harder for him to get on and off. Next year I’ll be buying him crocs again. I wished I could’ve written a better review on these but they just didn’t work out for us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As expected. High quality. Washable. Durable. My son has wide feet and these fit him very well. These shoes can handle anything and they wash well. They are easy and quick to put on. I just bought a size up for next year but the one he's worn this year has held up from daily wear and many washings in the washing machine. This shoe is the perfect summer time shoe. It can handle hiking, water play, and running. My son loves them so much that he's wearing them in the winter... in Germany... :weary: I literally can't get him to wear any other shoe. I wish there was a winter version to these shoes because winter socks and sandals aren't cute... even in Germany :rofl:

When the package arrived, my granddaughter immediately fell in love with the zoo animal themed Neighbors model. We held our adult breath as her mother pulled out the next pair of shoes in Rainbow Tie Dye. "Okay, THOSE are mine!" she responded. These shoes with their cut away cooling system, rugged and reinforced toe, and quick drying materials are perfect for the end of summer but also for recesses to come. Having spent much of the summer barefoot or in flipf-lops these are the perfect transition shoe before the boot season sets in. Love KEEN!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These shoes are awesome comfortable My son has two different sized feet so finding shoes can be difficult. They are on wider size too. We have been buying keens for him every year as his summer shoes. They are perfect. He can wear them since they are closed shoe and run in them and have same comfort as tennis shoes. They keep him cool when hot outside. We wore them biking until we got too close to a tree. These are his favorite shoes. The customer service for keens is amazing. Friendly and understanding they worked with us to get the right fit at the right price. Thank you so much for assisting us with perfect fit. Cant wait to purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my 7 yr old loves them My 7yr old son loves these sandals and the tie dye color is awesome! Bought these for a 2 week trip to Hawaii where we spent a lot of time on the beach, snorkeling and hiking in volcanic rocks. These sandals went through it all in near daily use without any problems. He currently wears a 2.5 youth, the size 3 fit fine and there's room to grow. You will likely need to trim down the bungee laces, they are super long. Easy enough to pry apart the lace ends, trim and refit the ends. I wish the adult version had the "adjustable hook & loop" closure so I could get the regular Newport H2's on my tall feet!

HOW to MEASURE
1. Place a piece of paper against a wall.

2. Have the little human stand on the paper with their heel against the wall.

3. For both feet mark where the longest toe ends.

4. In centimeters, measure from the edge of the paper to both marks.

5. Use the longest foot measurement and match it up to a KEEN size using the size charts above.
