Newport shoeGood looking shoe but the shoes are too wide and tight at the Velcro strap.
My granddaughter love your sandals, first choice for shoes this summer. She loved them. When I found out about the Newport we all thought she will love them, they fit too wide and tight at the Velcro strap. Unfortunately, I will return them. This is the first time she doesn't feel comfortable with a pair of keens. Last couple of winters she wore your winter gray/pink boots and she loved them.

So confusedI thought this was a version of the Newport sandal, but in shoe form. Not so. It is much more bulky and the ‘mesh’ is actually just normal shoe siding. The questions said that it isn’t a water shoe or water repellant. So basically it is a shoe with the rubber toe and Velcro with a wide toe box. My son did say that they were comfortable. Worth something, but not the Newport with mesh lining to keep out rocks in the ocean that I had hoped.

Great Fall Walking/Hiking shoeOnly thing I'm not delighted with is the velcro strap across the ankle. 2 prob with the strap --1) it restricts my ankles movement when sit or on some rocky terrains. 2) it like to grab the bottom of my pants,or socks &
especially with knits, damages fabric. Runs wide - but I like that as it will work with multiple thickness of socks.

Roomy toe boxI have very square, short and wide feet. These shoes both fit in length and width at the same time. They are unbelievably comfortable.
I used the fitting guide and was directed to get size 5, and ended up with size 3. I don't know if that means the shoes run large or if I misunderstood the fit instructions.

ComfortableMy son loved these from the moment he put them on! He was so happy he had a closed shoe that he could still wear like a sandal with or without socks! He also loved that his toes weren't squished like his other shoes and has room to move them. Overall great purchase and will be buying this brand from now on!

Only shoe my boys can't put holes in!Huge Keen fan -- mainly for the rubber toe. Both my boys are HARD on shoes and always wear out the toe within the first week or two. Our school requires brown leather shoes and these last until they outgrow them! Keen Designers--Would love to see the Chandler shoe in a brown leather for boys!!

I love these shoes they are amazing!The shoes are so grippy even when they are muddy. Also they are extremely light and so fun to run in. I recommend these shoes to everyone that is eight years and younger.

A dissapointment from KeenI am a huge fan of Keen and I got all my Keen shoes with some difficulties.
Therefore, I am dissapointed with my new Newport shoes. They are assimetrical and the inner insoles are very thin.
