Durable Water Repellent

Mammut SOFtech

Mammut SOFtech
SOFtechâ„¢ combines the second and third layers of clothing to provide effective protection in a whole range of weather conditions. The wear-resistant materials have excellent stretch and good breathing properties, ensuring an optimal body temperature.

Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from High expectations delivered I purchased 32 short and I am 5' 9", waist 31 with thick thighs. Fit is perfect for me, not quite as tight as athletic fit but not loose; articulations well deigned and placed. Material feels good next to skin. End of pants come to bottom of boot cuff. Gaiters keep out snow and vents provide adequate ventilation and cooling. Pants are comfortable by themselves at 20F in gusty wind as well as 40F and sun. Velcro waist straps provide wide range of waist adjustment. Zipper flares at the bottom should open completely for better buckle access.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super versatile. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pants for all your technical mountaineering adventures. The pockets are well placed to work around a harness. They are breathable and kept me warm on a sub zero morning (with some solid base layers). Keep in mind that the thighs can be tight so order a size up if you plan on wearing something under.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, Warm, Versatile I have worn these pants for a number of seasons in climbing ice, skiing, and general mountaineering. They are one of my favorite soft shell pants for colder days where flexibility and breathability are still a must. I would definitely recommend buying a pair for anyone that enjoys winter sports.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Runs Small I had high hopes for these pants but, as other reviewers have mentioned, they run small. I'm a 36 long but the L size would not even close at the waist. And back she goes.
