Product Reviews
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t buy if you plan on using it as a rain jacket I used this jacket for the first time in the rain as an outer layer to stay dry and was very displeased. I reached into the pocket where my phone and wallet were to find them in a puddle of water after just an hour. I slowly started to feel my bottom layer of many layers beginning to get wet after just a few hours. It was cold and miserable. Not a jacket I would ever depend on again to stay dry. I would not recommend this jacket to anyone who is in need of an actual functioning rain jacket. Learning the hard way stinks when you have to get cold and wet in 30 degree weather just to find out this is not a good product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, Lightweight Raincoat As with many Marmot products, not too bulky in the waist like many other brands. I am 5'8", 150, athletic build. Medium was a perfect fit w/ room for a shirt and fleece beneath. Very lightweight, breathable fabric for warm season rain. Nice, 2 tone patina or shimmer to the material. Not crazy about the white liner, but it works. When the hood is flipped back, it is quite visible around your face, neck and shoulders. Would have preferred a darker green or tan. I have many Marmot coats, shirts, fleeces, etc. I am always pleased w/ the quality and athletic fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great rain jacket Overall fantastic jacket so far since purchasing last month. Has proven to be both waterproof and highly breathable on daily urban commutes as well as on the trail. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is that even with me having a 32 waist the jacket is somewhat tight around the waist and hips if I have anything more than a t-shirt underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband received this jacket to shoot photos of it. We were excited to put EvoDry to the test in our very wet climate of Whistler BC.. We went out and shot this jacket on some days with very heavy rain and wet snow for a few hours at a time, hiking trails to get to our destinations. The jacket was incredible and kept me dry every time. It also breathed well on our hikes which is something I always look for. It's a light shell that allows you to wear a mid layer underneath, and very packable for when you want to take the jacket off and store it in your pack. A very versatile jacket while in the mountains, or simply running errands around town on a wet or windy day! It looks great also! Allie

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Save it for a Rainy Day...All the Rainy Days HERE'S HOPING one of the higher ups reads this. I have to say thank you and hope to know you saw this review some day. Ok, I had one of these jackets in 2011. Got it to work in Alaska for a few years and wore it---EVERY---SINGLE---DAY. Got back to the lower 48 and continued to use it weekly. Finally got a job roofing and needed a solid wind breaker and rain protection. This did it. I literally put that jacket through the toughest jobs and had it last till Summer 2020. It was beaten, raw and weathere but no tears, no stains and just as awesome as the first day I had it. Worth every PENNY. You guys made a lifelong customer from a simple rain jacket over 10 years ago.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit Overall, I'm happy with this jacket. Performance and fit are good. I'm 6' tall and weigh 170lbs. A size medium fits well. Not too baggy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfactory When I first purchase the jacket, I only got to experience some light rain which it held up real well in. I was waiting to write a review until I experienced some heavy rain. The jacket did perfect, kept me dry no problems at all. The fit of the jacket seems a tad big but overall fits good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phoenix EVODry gets my thumbs up I am an avid hiker and climber and have tried many rain jackets on mountain treks. The Phoenix EVODry was a pleasant surprise, both because it kept me dry and because its comfortable. It doesn't have that clammy, stiff feel that many rain jackets have. Well done Marmot!
