Product Reviews
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beware the "belt" I would be giving these pants 5 stars if it weren't for one "small" but defining dealbreaker. The waist cinching mechanism is ridiculous. It makes for limited adjustment, and places the small metal hooks precisely under my pack hip belt. I'm curious how this ever made it through design or testing. Why not just normal belt loops like the otherwise lesser Scree pant? Or a removable built-in belt? This is one of the most nonsensical belt options I've experienced. Beyond that, these are quite nice pants. Much more fitted than the Scree pant. They're a versatile weight find that sweet spot between being streamlined & feature rich. Still, the non-belt situation is enough that I think I'm going to have to return these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from improve waist adjustment bought these early this winter work great for what I wanted them for but I feel the waist adjustment system is lacking. If I put my phone in the pocket the pants are constantly falling down no matter how tight I put the "belt". Needs less elastic or a slightly elastic belt or even regular belt loops. Have broken one of the hooks on the adjuster trying to stop the drop. Would be a great product if the aforementioned problem could be resolved.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Put belt loops on the dang pants! I love everything about these pants etc for the ridiculous part where there's no belt loops. Tightened all the way and still won't stay up. They are essentially unwearable. Why in god's name would you not have belt loops?!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Good for biking but hem closure toggle not as pictured and does not function properly. I’m disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Review Pants are very good. Only thing I would say that would make them better is back pockets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice pants Nice pants. I prefer a belt to the hook and elastic setup on these pants. Very pricey.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too much stuff in the cargo pocket. The Pants fit as advertised and expected from other Marmot pants. I wish the pants had at least one back pocket. I knew that the pants did not have a back pocket when I ordered them, however I did not appreciate how full the front thigh pocket would get when I put the things I would but in a back pocket with my phone in the thigh pocket. Other than that I like the pants. I will be more likely to wear these to and from work than as an everyday pant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Weather-proof while looking good. These are very well made, as you would expect from Marmot. These are the upgraded version of the Scree pant (my go-to old reliables). It is made from Marmot M3 Softshell fabric like the Scree but with a bit more detail in the cut, style and quality. I can't wait for that brisk fall and East river wind so I cant get these out.
