Product Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Function following form [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suppose I shouldn't have bought this jacket in the first place because a chest pocket, which this jacket doesn't have, was a must-have for me, but I bought it hoping that everything else about it would knock it out of the park. Unfortunately, for me, who will admittedly not be using this for mountain climbing but just being out in the rain, it fell down in three places: 1) the aforementioned lack of a chest pocket, 2) the hand pockets were higher than I like, and 3) the zipper gets stuck at the bottom when unzipping. Upon inspection, it seems that this is by design, and there may be good reason for it, but it's an impediment nonetheless. Otherwise, the red is very hip and I like it's semi-fitted cut.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a precip jacket for years and it was great, but I wanted something a little more mobile for hiking. This jacket definitely does the trick without sacrificing any of the features I expect from the Precip line

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Look before you leap Bought this online, rather than in a store. So I did not realize that the hood does not roll up into the collar like the very similar Marmot windbreaker I purchased several years ago (my favorite Marmot purchase ever). Also, even though a large size, the sleeves are way too long for a garment not listed as "tall." I did not find the trunk of the jacket to be longer than a usual "Large." Finally, the lining inside matches the windbreaker lining from a few years ago. I found that that material did not stand up well to my beard, which eventually wore the fabric out around the neck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice jacket Jacket looks to be quality. I don’t sense a ton of stretch. So if you are looking for something really stretchy this jacket is not it. But it is quality and made my Marmot. It wears a touch big. Not a lot. Not by a size. But enough so you could fit a light down jacket or thick sweater etc for cold days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Water beads up and rolls right off. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the men's precip jacket for rainy days and I am impressed with how well it sheds water. The water beads up and can be easily shaken off before entering your vehicle or home or anywhere else. I've had numerous raincoats over the years and this one performs well beyond any of the other name brand jackets. Love love love this raincoat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great side zippers [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect jacket for Mountain biking. It is light weight and takes up minimal space in your pack. This jacket also works well for added warmth when the weather changes. The pit zip design allow you to fully open the sides, which provides better temperature regulation and less sweating, when wearing during intense exercise.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buy the next size up. Runs small a size or two small. The length of the arms and body are right but it was small for my chest, back, and abdomen. I'm in between an XL and XXL so I bought to XXL but it felt more like an L.
