Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Pants for touring I love these pants and they are a good price. I took them out about 15 times this season (got them in February). Kept me dry on wet snow days and breath well. I love the pockets and side vents. Zippers are solid and easy to open/close. They do seem a little fragile. On my first tour out I got a cut on the inside leg where the reinforced cuffs are (probably about 1/2 inch). Must have been from a ski edge. I also got some small holes from branches in them from various other tours. One small hole as well from an alpine ax snagging the soft part of the pant. I really thought they would last more than a season. Maybe this pair was just an anomaly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New favorite pants for... everything? You know when you put on a new piece of technical clothing and immediately you're like, yeah, these are awesome? And then you actually use it for it's technical purpose and you're like, yeah, these are actually really awesome? That's the Pro Tour pants, for me. I've got the navy blue, which is true to the color on the website. I wish I also bought the grey, but now they're out of stock. It's (mild) winter now in UT, and I wore these touring yesterday. They're equally legit for making a run to the grocery store. So versatile. Great design, materials, construction. Can't rate the pro tour pants highly enough!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, amazing with a tiny mod These pants fit great, I love that they come in short because you don’t need that much length when you’re wearing them with ski boots and internal gaiter mountaineering boots. In fact I modified them to be even more versatile by adding a second snap post to tighten the legs up when mountaineering with my la sportiva built in gaiter single boots. It really cleans it up and reduces crampon snag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but Sizing Didn't Work I get hot in bibs and hate snow down my back, so ski pants with suspenders are my go to. The quality seemed good on these for the price point, but unfortunately they were way too short. I sized up to an XL hoping to get a little extra length, but still too short so I had to send them back. I'm 6' 2" and 190.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size Medium, Length Short Me, height 66 inches, weight 150 lbs, waist 31, inseam 28. Use, alpine touring. The inseam is about right as is the waist. The garment moves well and does not bunch up or fold. Access to boot buckles is very good due to the zippered cuffs. Front pockets are a bit shallow as is the thigh pocket. Suspenders are not necessary and the vents are situated well for dumping heat and moisture. The material is fairly light weight. It does a nice job of blocking wind and keeping heat in when ascending during a tour. However, when descending, in temperatures less than 15 degrees Fahrenheit I use a shell. I would recommend this garment for anyone who tours and is looking for a lighter weight well designed and constructed pant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stretchy Wonders I bought these for backcountry splitboarding. They work great. They have the right amount of features: stretch, breathability, and price. They are athletically cut. I’m 5’9” and 205lbs. The large is a good fit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as water resistant as I would have expected. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been using these pants for a few months. I use them for hiking in the white mountains of New Hampshire. They do well on windy days, and cold days. I love the suspenders and that was a big selling point. They don't get pushed down by your pack. The bad news is they don't really keep out water well at all. Hiking the carter mountains I was faced with wet spruce trees dripping on me and lining the trail. My Black Diamond Sharp end shell kept my top half 100% dry. The Marmot pants soaked through to my bad layer fast. And that eventually caused my socks get get soaked. That can turn into dangerous situation in those mountains to I was not thrilled. I will be buying something that is water proof not water resistant next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional and durable. Great product as I like the reinforcement around the cuffs and just the right amount of pockets. Shoulder straps stay in place and are easy to adjust. Looks great and is warm. Warmest bibs/snow pants that I've owned.
