The Marmot Men's Warmcube Kaprun Jacket is a ski jacket for the frigid, unpredictable winter weather. Don't forget the skis for your feet and 3D WarmCube construction will delight your upper half with the 800 fill power down and all the trapped heat it creates in the resulting air channels. It's lightweight so you can still zip down the mountain and features Marmot MemBrain 2L waterproof, breathable fabric to keep rain, snow, sleet and wind out. The hood and powder skirt are removable to adjust between mountain and town, while PitZips can be opened up when physical exertion causes the need to release excess heat.
Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.
Marmot MemBrain fabrics utilize a polyurethane laminate that perfectly balances performance for anything nature can throw at you. Waterproof, breathable and durable, the external protection coupled with minimal internal condensation adds up to pure comfort.
WarmCube technology is an innovative design that takes your down or synthetic insulation to the next level. Whether it's inside a jacket or sleeping bag, WarmCube construction will warm you up faster when compared to traditional horizontal baffles. The plush 3D cubes mold to the body, create channels of warm air between the cubes to boost thermal efficiency, and also keep your insulation from shifting around to prevent cold spots. It's like you're wearing an igloo that's super duper comfortable.

a well ventilated furnaceThis new warmcube technology is impressive. The seem separated cubes ensure the feathers and loft remain where they intended to be. I am big a fan of hoods and this one has some great features. It's warm, adjustable, large enough for a helmet and removable. While this is a puffy, it also has a durable 20k/20k exterior that makes a great all in one solution for cold days. Living in the PNW, we are not known for subzero temps, but the pit vents are a perfect way to regulate heat when needed. Finally, the elastic cuffs with thumb holes do a great job of keeping the powder snow out and warmth in. Did I mention this a sports fans' dream on a cool fall day?

Better than my Canada Goose Parka.-45C (plus windchill) in on the wide open, windy Canadian prairies and this keeps me warm. My body doesn’t even feel the temperature change from when I put it on inside to when I’ve been outside for over an hour. Incredible warmth. The only downside I can find is the hood. Although it’s great for wearing a helmet, it’s a little big when you aren’t. It’s only got a single adjustment point which pulls it further back exposing your face in order to tighten up around it. I’ve put a timber wolf fur ruff around the hood edge which has improved it immensely.
I’ve worn this jacket in a blizzard of 130 km/h winds with the base temp of -33C and it still held back old man winter from getting inside. top notch.
Expensive, but warm.

Great ski jacket for very cold conditions[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is incredibly warm on the coldest days and well designed. There are 5 zippered pockets including one interior, suitable for a phone, one large breast pocket, a small sleeve pocket for ski pass, and two hand pockets. The insulation is sewn inside cubes which prevent its movement. The exterior shell is water proof and the detachable hood accommodates a helmet. This is not an all season jacket - it’s simply too warm - although pit zips provide some relief. But if you’re looking for all day warmth in temps below 10F, this is the jacket for you.

Great jacketVERY warm jacket. Only thing I am sad it doesn't have is a two way zip, for the price of the jacket. Like I said, very warm, fits well, pit zips, great to have when the temps drop.

Nice warm coat.I’ve skied for 40 years and this is the first really warm coat I’ve ever had. Did not come with instructions so I had to use trial and error to cypher out the correct way to put my arms in and keep the zipper on the front where I could grab a hold of it. It was much easier to put it on unzipped and then zip it up. I would not have wasted a couple of hours if they just said something clearly on the manual.

seems warmSizing a little strange. Body was too short and arms are very long. It seems like it will be very warm, the cubed pockets for the down is a great idea. I'm 5'11" 185, the large was almost too big, but I would have kept it if the arms weren't so long. The bottom hit me right at the belt line, so again it's a little short for a jacket intended for extreme cold skiing.
