The Marmot Women's Dawn Hoody is a softshell climbing jacket that keeps you comfortable during cool weather vertical pushes. Super tough Cordura nylon lends durability while stretch fleece manages moisture and temperature without restricting your movement. Flatlocked seams prevent bunching when layered up or wearing a pack, and thumbhole cuffs help keep your sleeves in place on the climb.

Product Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sleeves are short [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a great layering piece, breathable and the stretchy material moves with you. Only complaint is the sleeves are short. I ordered a small and everything fits great except the sleeves are too short to use the thumbholes so I basically have long sleeve cuffs with holes in them. I looked at ordering amedium but it only adds a half inch to the sleeves which would still be too short for me to use the thumholes. I would recommend this jacket unless you want to use the thumbholes in which case hopefully you have short arms or are ok with sizing up to the point that the body of the jacket is really big

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Jacket I've had the Dawn Hoody for about 6 months now and it's become my go-to jacket whenever I need an extra layer or midlayer. I've worn it for spring/early summer ski touring, cool summer mornings in the mountains, rock climbing, post-trail run, etc. It's become a layer that always has a place in my car, backpack, or duffel bag, no matter where I'm going.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Weird pockets. Good jacket, great fabric. Unfortunately the pocket design is rather weird since the zippers aren’t flat. Instead there’s a flap covering them. It looks very unflattering when you wear the jacket since it bulges out. The men’s version has flat pockets which look much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Go-To Jacket I cannot count how many times I've used this jacket in the last few months. I'm obsessed! It's so warm, yet breathable and seems to be perfect for those in-between temps when the weather can be variable, or as a layer to throw underneath my puffy for days in the backcountry. I love the thumbholes at the bottom of the sleeves and how soft the interior of the pockets are. This is by far my most used jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pocket fit Great athletic fit and material. Pocket zippers have a flap to hide the zipper itself. But because of the athletic snug fit they don’t lay flat and tend to flare out. I wish there was no flap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like it but has flaws Warm and comfortable BUT the seams are fraying after wearing this jacket just a few times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and comfy shell The inside is super soft fleece and is the weight of a sweatshirt hoodie. Love it!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice zip up! I love the fit and color scheme here. This garment is light weight but also incredibly warm, and lined with comfy fleece. My only gripe would be the way that the pockets are designed. Very weird and backward. It makes the fabric stick out in a very annoying way. I’m debating sewing them shut.
