Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow!! First time using it it was a chilly 20-30 degrees. I was night fishing and hooked into a lunker! Landed this 24+ inch football of a rainbow. When I netted this monster the real fight was on. all of a sudden it decided it didn't want its picture taken and leaped towards the depths of its home. I tried to keep a hand on this glorious fish as I plummeted twords the water. Ended up diving in chest deep after it to end up never seeing it again. Afterwords I squeezed the excess H2O from the jacket and to my surprise I kept warm well after the escape of this elusive fish. Went on to stay on the water warm and dry to keep pulling big hogs out of this quality water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've been reluctant to purchase puffy jackets in the past because the nylon or poly outside layers don't hold up to the rough-and-tumble lifestyle my family puts gear through, and because most of them are down, which is harder to care for and cold when wet. This is the first puffy that caught my attention and made me reconsider. With non-down insulation, it's super warm, even in a drizzle. So far, the shell layers seem durable as well. My partner and I fit the same size, and we've been stealing this puffy from each other at every opportunity. I think we may have to splurge for another one...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Weight and loftiness of fill really does make this hoodie easily mistaken for a down-filled piece. Still doesn't compress as well as down, but I've not really put that through a thorough test to see how much difference there is. I like the cut/look of the hoodie and have been complimented on it... although i'm not as much of a fan of the green as I am the other color options shown on Marmot's product page on Marmot's site... I've not tested it in wet conditions yet. It's also not quite cold enough in the Mid-Willamette Valley yet to wear it a whole bunch without being a bit too warm. Curious how effective this piece will be once it's both cold and misty around here. Pretty sure it will be my go-to jacket this winter though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally love it!!! It's everything you want in a jacket - packable, neat, light but warm, cozy and perfect for all activities. It's classy, dressy and suited to wearing to work, going to a game or cycling around. Anything packable that gives you layer options in my view is first rate. Would love to see it coming in other bright colors in both mens and womens - some women prefer the men's jackets as they are longer fit - you wont hear me complain if we see it in another box!! FIRST CLASS!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, so good! I bought this jacket as a Christmas gift. So we will have to see how well it fits. But I like the style, weight, & design, and price of this jacket. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable puffy. I was more than skeptical of this jacket at first as it is a synthetic jacket. This is due to weight and packability. I thought I was getting gipped at first. That opinion quickly changed the first time I wore the jacket. I can't believe that it packs into its own pocket and is as warm as my comparable down jacket. The fact that it will perform better when wet is a huge plus. I am excited to use this skiing and ice climbing this winter. Solid product by Marmot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this jacket so much. I received the men's jacket so it's a bit big in the biceps area. But the jacket is great. I recently took it on a trip to Glacier National Park. I packed it in my backpack for layering and it is super lightweight. I was sweating all the way to Grinnell Glacier, but once I got to the glacier the wind and the 30* temps made me reach for my jacket right away. Once I put it on, I had no chill whatsoever. And the hood is perfect! I love this jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really like it. A hooded jacket was at the top of my to-get list...I love the cruelty free aspect. The performance was good as well. Its maiden voyage was on a fly fishing jaunt on the frying pan, 40's, drizzly/sleety early October. I normally would wear a shell, but wanted to test the jackets limits. It held up well to the wet for probably 3-4 hours before leaking through at the zipper and corresponding back seam, still pleased overall. Great color for me too.
