Product Reviews
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Had to return [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket and The Minimalist jacket and ultimately returned the knife edge jacket. I was excited to finally find a women’s Marmot rain jacket that had a chest pocket but could hardly fit my phone in there. Also, I was not a fan of the hand pockets, I know there are designed to be able to still access them while having a belt from a backpack around your waist but I wasn’t a fan of the mesh lining, I feel like I could rip a hole in it. I loved the dark teal color but ultimately returned. I am 5’5” and 130 lbs and a small fit great with room for layers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek Jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in FL we get rain all the time. It is not worth an umbrella with the way it rains but this jacket has been a life saver. It is lightweight enough to wear anytime but the waterproof part was it's selling point. I love how the rain rolls off of this jacket. There are plenty of pockets that have zippers that allow your possessions to stay dry. I love that it is tailored to fit a woman and is not bulky and unflattering. I recommend this jacket to anyone for use as a raincoat or as an everyday lightweight zip up. I keep it in my car and it is so handy, I don't know what I would do without this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! I purchased the Knife Edge shell to use for a variety of activities: back country skiing & ice climbing in winter, and backpacking & climbing throughout the year. So far it's only gotten winter use, but it's been dry & comfortable to ski in. I'm 5'9, 150 lbs, normally wear a M but purchased a L to layer under. It fits great with my puffy underneath but is also comfortable to wear with a midlayer. As a bonus the teal color is really pretty and the cut of the jacket provides some shape instead of just being a straight-up-and-down tent, which I've found in some other shells I've had. Overall very pleased and excited to use this year!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simplicity at it's finest... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're always on the move, always needing a versatile jacket for those 'just-in-case' moments, and always trying to keep your style in tact, this jacket is for you. It's absurdly lightweight, packs up to about fist-size, and keeps every drop of water away. With all the bells and whistles of jackets these days, I have been more than impressed by the simple, yet functional features of this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous garment. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife has been totally spoiled with this jacket. It's built for someone whose climbing mountains or hiking obscure trails, but keeps her dry and comfortable on a rainy workday. The first thing one noticed with this garment are the zippers that are treated for waterproofing. Also, looking inside the jacket one can see all the seams are waterproofed. I've included photos of the zippers and the seam taping. Another feature that's really cool are the vent zippers under the arms and the mesh pockets. Since the jacket is so waterproofed, one has to vent it out once in awhile. All in all a quality garment that's over engineered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rain jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a Patagonia rain jacket that I hated (it fit weird, short arms and too loose in the body). This jacket reminded me why I love Marmot so much. Fits great, has enough ease that I can wear it over a hoodie but isn't too big. Hood gives me great face coverage in the driving rain, keeping the rain off my glasses. Most rain jackets keep my hair dry but not my glasses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this jacket, but it unfortunately runs extremely small. I love how it feels and the color is good. All seams are covered and reinforced. The design of pockets and fit are excellent. Some design adjustments should be made as the hood sets a little too far back. Also, these should be designed to run larger rather than smaller as they are a jacket and not a shirt. It is a protection from weather and should be designed to wear over various weights of top, from light to heavy, and allow more ease in movement with that in mind.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely tight shoulders, bad pocket placement I live in northern california and spent a good time researching which rain jacket was best suited for me up here. The jacket in person is quite different than what the photos on the model showcase. The shoulders are extremely tight, I have a larger phone -s21 ultra- and it barely fits in the pocket, when it's in the pocket, it rubs the bottom of my ribcage. Also there's no inside pockets on this jacket like other video reviews claim.
