Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Hiking Pants Yet These are the first hiking pants that I've bought that FIT WELL. The length (I'm between a regular and tall), the fit around my body (I have wide hips and no butt), all of it. Took off one star for the front pockets. That's the only thing I can see so far that I'd like to see improved. Their opening is slanted, so they kinda stick open, and I don't know if I'd trust putting something in them and sitting down. They have decent depth, but still. Any men's pants I can put on have more practical pockets than the best women's. Still, you all nailed the fit, comfort, and length, and there are other pockets to use, so I'm excited to take these on some backpacking trips this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit, super comfy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for a backpacking trip to Patagonia and have also used them since for some day hiking and I love them! Marmot pants are cut really well (for my body type, at least) in that they're long enough and well-fitted. I like the lightweight fabric that is nice for not getting too hot but also easy to layer long underwear underneath. Dog hair does stick to them like a magnet but that's my only complaint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these pants These pants are very flattering, I always get compliments when I wear them. They are comfy and functional. I've purchased these in 3 colors and wear them to my office job regularly since they look good in a casual professional environment. These pants fit true to size. I normally wear a size 10. I am 5'6 and weigh 155 pounds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Pants [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fit well and the waist doesn't gap. I am pear shaped and the pants looked good. The front pockets do gap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants ! I'm 5'6" 125 lbs with narrow hips. A Size 4 fits perfect . There is still a little extra room in the hips as there is some stretch.. There are belt loops but I won't need to use. Flattering style. The waist is a med. rise. Love the stitching behind the knee , pockets and seams. The back pockets fit my iPhone 11 in a case as does the cargo pocket. One back pocket also has an add'l handy zipper . The roll up legs have 2 snaps which is great. My only complaint is fabric rustles which is probably unavoidable with this fabric. Otherwise I love these pants and should probably buy another pair right now !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy, water repellent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these for a Grand Canyon backpacking trip. I've come to prefer long pants for hiking, and these did great - we started out at 36 F and ended the hike at 90 F, and my legs felt comfortable the entire time. The cut and the stretch of the fabric support a wide range of motion. Moisture wicking and water repelling work great. I'm between a size 6 and a size 8 (I'm around 150 lbs, 5'9 tall). I went with a size 6. Although the fit was snug around the hips, the pants were not binding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits great, so comfortable! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a hard time finding pants that fit well and these are perfect. Relaxed fit but not baggy. True to size. Bought them in a couple colors. They are my new favorite hiking pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing pant [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these slacks a few weeks ago for a trip to the Canadian Rockies. Weather for early September was unusual while we were in the Banff/Revelstoke/Jasper areas for 2 weeks. We had low 70s with sun, drizzling rain and high 20s with snow. These slacks transitioned well! We did some light hiking in all weather, longest hikes were 5 km. While not very warm in the cold weather neither was I extremely cold, so no complaints from me. Not hot or warm when the weather was nice, very comfortable. When it was drizzling or snowing these slacks did not get soaked and I was not wet but these were our shortest walks a well, about 1.5 km. Scrambled up some rocks and tredged thru a stream that was part of a hike. No tears, dirt brushed off and rolling up the pant legs kept them dry. Perfect for that hike! My only issue, I wear between an 8 to 10 in slacks. I did the fit finder for sizing and ordered a 10 based on that measurement. I wish I ordered the 8. The pants fit fine but loosened as I wore them resulting in a baggy pants look and need of a belt. I am 64", 140#, curvy and fit. Love that the pants fit the curves but just too baggy for wearing around suburbia with friends. I am ordering an 8 for that.
