Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality jacket This was my first purchase from Marmot and am pleased to note that this jacket really does live up to the advertising. The construction is exceptional, materials are high quality, the design is highly functional and the fit is darn near perfect. I'm 5', 103# and often feel "eaten alive" by most off the rack items, especially outerwear. The small fits me fine with enough room to layer under it and, although the sleeves are a little long, the elastic at the cuff handles that nicely. This jacket almost makes me look forward to winter. Almost. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and Warm Jacket! I got this jacket a few weeks ago and I practically haven't taken it off since, it's SO comfortable! The fit is nice and tailored. It's nipped in at the waist and flares out at the bottom (good for athletic bums). The arms are also on the longer side, which I love because I like to pull my sleeves over my hands to keep them extra warm. So far I've worn this jacket on multiple snowy hikes and it's kept me nice and toasty and I've also worn it under my hard shell while skiing in cold, windy conditions on Mt. Bachelor and I didn't get cold (and I typically get cold pretty easily while skiing)! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome mid-weight coat! Absolutely love this coat! Is a great mid-weight coat - perfect for winter in warmer climates or spring/fall in colder ones. It's extremely light and compact which makes it ideal for travel. The fit is also amazing. I found it to be true to size and I can wear it with a mid-weight sweater underneath which makes it perfect for layering. The lines of the coat are great - it tapers at the waist to give you a nice silhouette. Got this at 30% off on a Black Friday special but I would have paid full price given the versatility and fit of the coat. Is a great investment!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn't fit correctly. I was really looking forward to my purchase of Marmot's featherless jacket. I'm 5' 4" tall, 135 lbs and bought a medium jacket. The bottom part of the jacket fit perfectly but the chest was big, even with a heavy sweater on. I returned the jacket because I was afraid if I bought the small the bottom half of the jacket would not fit correctly. Lastly, the style of the arms made me look and feel like the Michelin Man

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and Stylish! I bought this jacket in early November of 2018. I live in northern NY on the Canadian border and I walk to work everyday even in the winter. This jacket kept me warm in -15 degrees Fahrenheit temps with just a sweatshirt underneath. I ordered a size small-I am 5'2", 120 pounds, athletic build. I will say a size medium may have been better to wear thicker layers underneath. However, this jacket is perfect and I was able to wear it underneath my outer layer snow jacket. Highly recommend this product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wanted to love this I love the fabric and the matte black is super sexy and feels great against your skin. I love the cut and the drop tail hem. The idea of this jacket is perfect, unfortunately, the fit is off. I am 5'5" 125lbs. I tried both the small and the extra-small. I really wanted this to work for me. The arms are super roomy as in fat, they look really silly on and are hard to fit into my parka. The small was way too big around the middle, the extra small fit well around the middle, but was too small in the shoulders. I usually wear a size 4. Hoping they adjust the fit. It is a stylish well made jacket and the fabric is a dream.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the featherless I did a LOT of shopping around before deciding on this jacket, and I'm sure this was the right choice. Though I haven't tested it below about 40 degrees, so far it has kept me warm. I've even been out in the rain, and it worked pretty much like a rain coat. I'm 5' 9" and about 150 pounds. I ordered the large but definitely could have gone with the medium. I can add layers underneath, and I like having sleeves that will cover my hands, so the large works, too. I really do love that it's featherless. I have always hated feathers poking out. I have since purchased another Marmot rain jacket that fits right over this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket I purchased an XL coat for my wife who is 5'11" and 145 pounds. I could have gone with a Large, but she likes having the extra room. It appears to be well made and warm for the temperatures we just experienced in South Dakota between 20-30 degrees. I personally liked the way it tapered in the middle, but also found it may be a little large on the bottom. I read many reviews and believe this will be a go to jacket because its light, looks great, and easily pack able for travel. It was what I expected in quality and she liked it from the start. I purchased the down version vest shortly after seeing hers.
