The Marmot Women's Ouray Sleeping Bag is a winter sleeping bag for backpacking adventures in the cold. Hike more throughout the year with the gear that can handle it. The 650 fill power down inside this bag has been treated with Down Defender, allowing it to resist moisture when exploring damp conditions. Although it is still a heavier piece of winter gear, it's still plenty light and compressible. Snuggle into the down filled collar and dream of the sun.

Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Roomy mummy bag [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can get real claustrophobic in mummy bags. After a trek in Nepal where my old Angle Fire did fine but was a little chilly at high altitude it was time for a 0 degree bag. I shopped around for a bag that wouldn’t break the bank trying a few options. Most of them were too narrow for me to not feel a little panicked (I’m 5.7 132lbs), but this bag is amazing! Warm and cozy but with enough room for me to sleep on my side without being strangled. While the regular length says fits up to 5.6 you’ll be totally fine at a max of 5.75. The bag is a smidge heavier that some other 0 degree mummy bags, but totally worth it for a few extra inches in the hips. Marmot does it well!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK but not great I bought this earlier this year at spring sale and I've been looking forward to trying I out. However I'm not super impressed. We had frost and quite high humidity, approx -4 degrees Celsius and I woke up in the middle of the night, being cold. I wear a base layer of a wool shirt and pants, and I didn't expect that I had to add anything more in a sleeping bag with comfort temperature -19. I would have enjoyed a compression bag to go with the sleeping bag but other than that it's quite ok

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Women's Ouray is top notch! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been thinking I needed a 0 degree bag for spring and fall camping at elevation, and just bought this last month. I backpacked the weekend it arrived up along the Continental Divide to camp at some amazing lakes before snow falls for the season. The bag packed down just enough and didn't bog me down while hiking about 30 miles all over 9,000 feet elevation. Even with frost on the tent and snow fields nearby, I was toasty warm in my new sleeping bag. So glad I made the purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy the shape of this sleeping bag the most. I shift in my sleep from side to side to my bag, sometimes with one leg curled up, sometimes both, I enjoy being able to wiggle around inside. I also like the inner pocket to keep my lighters warm for the morning and my headlamp handy. It got pretty chilly inside with my silkies on and it was near 0°F, but I threw on a waffle top, wiggled to he bottom of the bag, and pulled the hood over and I was pretty warm. The no-snag zip is good too. The would definitely replace the stuff sack it comes with, but overall a nice sleeping bag!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than a bed I spent over ten hours scouring the internet for the best 0 degree bag at the best price and weight. And the Ouray was my answer. It is so comfortable and warm that I want to sleep in it ever night, even when I’m at home. I’ve had some feather leakage open first few uses but it seems to have stopped now (on its 3rd backpacking trip). The features are great: the zippers catch on fabric way less than my old The North Face bag and having and additional 3/4 zipper on the other side (while perhaps adding a bit of extra weight) is kinda nice when I want extra ventilation on warmer nights or when I want my arm to be free. The little pocket inside the bag is nice to keep my epi pen warm (which as a backpacking guide is crucial) but I wish it was a little bigger so that it could fit my phone more comfortably. My favorite feature is how small the hood sinches up. You can get it so small that just your nose is out!! The stuff sack it comes with doesn’t really help with compression as it is rather large. I don’t usually bother with it because it actually makes it harder for me to pack my bag. In addition to the stuff sack, the bag comes with a mesh storage sack. The new purple color is rocking and I am so happy and warm with my new bag! I have a feeling I’ll be bringing this bag out even on summer nights despite the couple extra ounces just because it’s so unbelievably cozy. A girl’s got to stay warm!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, so I get really, really cold easily. When we were planning a desert trip in the fall, I was nervous about the nights down by the river. I knew that my 15 degree bag wouldn't hold up. This bag was incredible! I didn't even have to wear a puffy coat inside the bag! I had a pillow to put inside it and I could just cinch the hole for my face and be so toasty warm! The inside pocket was amazing fo my phone! It didn't have any issues from getting to cold at night. The bag also stuffs down really small! I had to buy a smaller stuff sack though, as the one that comes with the bag is pretty big. It wasn't heavy in my bag either. Exactly what I've been looking for in a bag! And the color isn't too bad either. ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfy This bag is exactly what I was looking for! I was so tired of being cold all the time, and a friend suggested this bag. I slept in it in below freezing temps and was the warmest I've ever been in my tent. I used it on a warmer night in the car and was also comfortable, so the down does its job well. I'm 5'3 and fit perfectly in it with room to sleep on my side and stretch my hips out. It is very lofty and also soft. It might be a little bulky for someone who is backpacking multi day trips, I compressed it down to see how it would fit in my bag and it didn't get as small as I would have thought but it seems worth it for me! Also to note: it does not come with any sort of compression bag, just a stuff sack and a mesh bag for storage

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm. Nice Color. Good Quality. Handy Features So very warm for this cold sleeper but that was only in the low 30's high 20's and I did vent it a couple of times so I am sure that it will go down to teens and singles for me. XT was nice and tall for me although the chest and shoulder was still a bit squeezed even in the taller size hence the lack of 5th star, but that is with 99% of wms bags that I have tried. The waist area has some nice extra room for us curvy ladies and side sleepers who curl up like I do. The 650 down is Super fluffy and packed down nicely. Draft tubes are super stuffed. Zippers glide smooth and haven't gotten stuck or caught in the draft tube. Materials inside and out seem durable and weight saving and have a nice visual appeal. Other than it being my favorite Color, what made me keep this bag was the xtra Shoulder zip! It is so convenient to use this to turn, adjust, vent, grab stuff, read, and sleep. This feature has put this bag in my top favorites. For all around cold weather comfort, flexibility, style, and quality, I recommend the Marmot Wms Ouray 0 degree mummy bag.

Could these zip together if you got a left zip and a right zip?

Asked by: adrian
Hey there, thanks for your question. Two Marmot Ouray Sleeping Bags with opposite zippers will zip together. I hope this helps!
