Great jacket but very slim cutThe jacket feels very nice, not as flimsy or plasticky as many others in this price range. I loved the color (I got the orange) and think the jacket looks sporty but also smart enough to wear for rainy days in the city. Unfortunately, the jacket is too fitted for a rain jacket. I'm 160cm and approx 58kgs and ordered an M. It fits more the way I would expect a suit jacket to fit. There was no room in the jacket for layers and it was too tight in the chest and shoulders to offer full mobility. If you want a loser cut either for layering or if you have a full chest or broad shoulders or wide hips I would definitely size up.

Waterproof Lining Peels Within Two YearsI have bought this jacket twice, both XL in Wild Rose. I have lived the color, the fit, the pit zips, and the draw cords on the hood. It is fully waterproof. HOWEVER, within two years of owning, the inner waterproof lining begins to peel and flake out of the jacket, especially around the cuffs and seams. Once the peeling starts it does not stop, leaving bits of white lining all over, and causing the places the lining has fallen out to no longer be waterproof. I thought it might be a fluke with the first jacket, but the exact same happened with the second jacket I purchased as well. For a cheaper jacket, I probably wouldn’t mind, but for the price of the jacket, I expected it to last longer.

Lining is not durable.I bought this jacket several years ago to replace a rain jacket I had been wearing for years. The jacket fits well, I can wear a fleece under the jacket comfortably. There are zippered vents under the arms, the hood fits well and the pockets are large enough. I took good care of this jacket, when I was working around the yard I wore my old rainsuit. The problem with this jacket is the lining, it didn't hold up well. It deteriorated

Overall, functional and breathableI purchased it to replace a rain jacket that was starting to disintegrate after 15+ years. I tried on several brands, and this one felt right. I live in Austin where often the rain is torrential and the weather can be humid. The lightweight, breathability of the jacket can't be beat. The colors are also very vibrant. My criticisms include that the "tag" to the zipper should have more girth so that it is easier to find and zip up and down. My second criticism is that the pockets should be larger. I think it is well made and will last another decade and a half.

Great weather protection but...I bought this to replace the previous iteration (the non-eco version) of this jacket (which was *perfect* but I left it somewhere). I purchased the XXL size. I have broad shoulders and an ample bosom, so I typically have a hard time finding a jacket that fits. This jacket does zip, but is tighter than my previous jacket in the bust and shoulders, and the pockets are smaller. It’ll do, but I don’t have a ton of room under it for layers. I wish that it had a little more breathing room and the slightly larger pockets. That being said, I haven’t found a lot of other options in my size that won’t leak at the seams within minutes of being out in the rain.

Durable, lightweight, and flattering[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my PreCip Jacket in September in 2018 and I've worn it for nearly every outdoor adventure since, but you wouldn't know it. From a lightweight everyday rain jacket, to an outer shell for snowboarding, the PreCip has held up very well and has great versatility. When I first received it, I was actually a bit skeptical that something so lightweight would have much function or durability, but it has truly proven me wrong and has become my #1 go-to jacket any time of year.

The Perfect Travel Jacket[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my jacket for every rainstorm at home, but particularly for travel.
- it keeps me dry
- it's a feather weight & stows compactly
- its hood folds into the collar so it's not collecting rainwater since I use a rain hat
- the pit zips keep me cool in Austin summer rains
- it fits over my down jacket (I sized up for this) to get a 3 way system
- the wild rose is BEAUTIFUL both alone & with my purple down jacket
- it's comfortable under my Gregory pack when hiking
- it works for around town, travel & on the trail
- it makes me smile when I wear it - a great product at a great price

Great fit!I bought this jacket to replace my first precip jacket, which lasted 5+ years. I am 5'4 120lbs and usually wear a small but purchased a medium because it's what I owned before. It fits great and has enough room to put layers under. The cut is more tailored (slimmer and slightly longer) and the material feels lighter although a little noisier than my first one. I'm very pleased with my new jacket and can't wait to have it for years to come!
